It stands to reason they want to use this game to get him re-acclimated so that he is as close to full strength as possible for our final 3 game gauntlet against 3 playoff teams

New video angle shows that Tomlin truly is a Dirt bag
OutsideRzAcE replied to 52isUnstoppable's topic in Baltimore Ravens
eh..I think you are giving him way more benefit of the doubt than he deserves when you factor in his actions in both videos. And i'm not trashing just to trash either. I'm just not taking the leap of faith Mike Tomlin wants people to take. He is asking people to throw out what they see and just trust him because he "would never do that." -
I'm going to be optimisitic and say 3. I say they beat Minny, the Pats, and Cinci. Lose to Detroit.

My reaction would be to move first. He already established where he was in relation to the play by seeing himself on the jumbotron, which by the way he claimed gave him a better view of the play than actually looking at it. By the way, Look at everyone else's reaction as Jacoby gets closer. If you think the first step was more suspicious, then if you evaluate both actions together there is only one conclusion! -
Happy birthday Grubber!

The D is good but still inconsistent. I'm not ready to say we can hang our hat on defense just yet. Suggs isn't producing lately and Pitt just shredded our Red zone D. I will say noone in the AFC scares me right now.

He is a liar, plain and simple. I can't believe the act he put on today at his press conference. What he described and what happened in the video are two different things. He says he was watching the jumbotron when he saw his head come into the screen and that's when he knew he had to get out of the way. Why then does the video show him looking at the jumbotron, then peering over his shoulder while he waited for Jones to get closer? Then there is the video that shows the deliberate step towards the sidelines while he's watching jones break it to the sideline. I thought a suspension would be overboard, but now I hope they do it for at least one game. -

Looks like he is doubling down on lying. Apparently he texted Jay Glazer yesterday and said people are crazy if they think he did it intentionally. -

He has a noon presser today. Can you say awkwarrrrrd? -
Yea, props to them for saying it and releasing that video. I was wrong about most people here being homers......a lot of media in pittsburgh are calling him out on it. Meanwhile I was listening to 105.7 the fan on the way home and Conn and Wiseman were both saying they believe Tomlin.

The worst part for Tomlin is that he has people who respect and believe in him defending him. Ryan Clark (who never misses an opportunity to say something stupid) and somebody else on his team back him and said they believe he didn't do it intentionally. Many fans are backing him because they think he's earned the benefit of the truth. This is 100 times worse than it could have been because he lied about it at the post game presser and still hasn't come out and owned up to it today. -
Apparently the Pittsburgh CBS station has video that shows Tomlin taking a huge step towards the field just after Jacoby breaks it to the sideline. I haven't seen it yet, but from what the local sports radio hosts are saying it is pretty damning. Wah Wah Tomlin.

Local news is in denial in Pittsburgh . They think he genuinely lost his place. What a bunch of homers
-
Yes I know
-
Good..glad to see they are taking this seriously. It could have cost us the game.
-
Is going to beat Cleveland in Cleveland...how did we lose that game again? And coming out of a bye?
-
There is one way....we set him up like the Yanks did Arod
-
I saw the interference live (honestly). I'm sure i'm not the only one..it seemed pretty obvious to me during the play. I was shocked that the both officials and Collisworth missed it. Collinsworth picks up all kinds of crap live.
-
I don't see how you can give the ref a pass. The NFL officials are supposed to be the best of the professionals. The point of trying to keep up with Jacoby is to see if there are any infractions on the play. Well he missed a pretty easy one about a foot away from him, and it's not like it was bang bang. I blame not only that official but the other ones for not conferencing and getting the call right. Nobody had the stones to make that call and that does not look good for a multibillion dollar league like the NFL. They are so lucky the Ravens won that game.

against a patchwork Oline of 2nd and 3rd string players! WTF?
-
Crappy refs is right. I would love to hear this officials justification for not throwing a flag. Look how close he is!

They will not be able to keep him so long as they have so much money invested in Rice. They really have to find a way to get rid of that contract.
