Both teams equally matched, similar offenses, defenses the same. No Watt on their defense, but arguably the best wide receiver duo in the league with an extremely mobile, accurate passer in the pocket. Speaking of pockets, while their line has done better , they are still the weakest link on their team. Rush lanes are going to be paramount, teams have been pushing the Ravens rush defensers to the side to clump them, rather than hold them off. The result is less sacks and more openings for the qb to throw & or run. The two additions, Peko and Willis should help with run stopping but maybe also help give the pass rushers a rest so that they can then come in and T-off... They have given up 25 sacks this year. This game would make up for the blow out loss to the Browns at home. Their defense will be ready, 19th in the league, this should be an interesting game...

My guess is both reasons. High ankle sprain for a big guy takes longer than a qb for Bama to heal... -

More The Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday plan to finalize a slew of personnel moves that will reshape the bottom of the roster, according to reports. Riding a five-game winning streak, the Ravens intend to waive cornerback Cyrus Jones and defensive end Ufomba Kamalu, the NFL Network and The Athletic reported. Baltimore will also move defensive tackle Daylon Mack (hip/knee) to injured reserve, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. To fill the open space on the roster, the Ravens will sign defensive tackles Justin Ellis and Domata Peko, according to reports. And they plan to activate rookie cornerback Iman Marshal off injured reserve, a move to which coach John Harbaugh alluded Monday. Jones, a Baltimore native, spent parts of the past two seasons as the Ravens’ punt returner before a fumble during a Nov. 3 win over the Patriots put his job in jeopardy. Baltimore signed De’Anthony Thomas last week to replace Jones in that role. Kamalu was inactive for two games after the Ravens signed him of the Patriots’ practice squad and never suited up for the team. Mack, a fifth-round rookie, appeared in just one game this season. Ellis spent the last five seasons with the Raiders. He had 119 tackles in 66 games for Oakland. https://www.pennlive.com/baltimore-ravens/2019/11/baltimore-ravens-to-make-wave-of-roster-moves-add-two-defensive-tackles-reports.html -
Not sure what he has left in the tank, but maybe he can add depth to the D line.

I heard their vet the other day try to proclaim the track safe because the rate of the horses being put down at the track had gone down.... And the reporter let her get away with that crap. No wonder they will not close that track... Sickening On a side note, 2 horses were put down here at a track this weekend, considered the safest in the nation.

Well Lamar is not Gullum nor Thoren's daddy who went madd... But he might be part Elf lord the way he slips through defenses, jumps over houses and can take a punch...

Well look what we have here, seven victories in nine tries; quite pleasant one could say. First, my apologies for stealing some from one of the greatest book & movie series, ever, I shall try to do justice. When we last saw our wandering group of misfits, they were toiling through games last season. Then EDC the grey, came about an unscrupulous plan; how to retake the mountain that housed the Silver Bettty. Oh our hero would need a tribe, a tested, valiant, brave bunch who would fight till the end, even their own. He would entrust them to a man, not one from the world of man coaches, no, he would have to be a special teamer..... This man would send out word, of what it would take, what he would need to take on a such a challenging quest. Word went out far & wide, some laughed, others scoffed, few came. But EDC the Grey would see his reach catch just the right sort. The special teamer saw that he had men who were brave, loyal & unrelenting; he could ask for nothing more. He brought this brood of unearthly talent together after a rough & dirty fight to start their quest that saw them lose as many battles with Orks, Gobblins and the like, as they won before their journey would truly begin. They joined together, backed each his brother and now sit poised to take on another foe, perhaps their greatest challenge yet; will they succeed in this stop along their journey? We shall not know just yet, but one thing is true; it will test their metal, sear their brotherhood, and prepare them for the battles ahead. Yes this journey has just begun, just where it will take them, only time knows, and it will not tell us easily, we will have to beat it out of time...

I'm not comparing the two Max, just an example, how people, coaches change, grow as they gain experience. I used Billy B because he was an average game manager when he started coaching, like Harbs, but learned and became one of the best. Talent & scheme can win many games, but game management can cost many more. It is what makes Billy B so great,

Hard to believe that the defense only gave up 13 pts when you look at some of the stats: rushing, time of posession. But then we see they recorded a few sacks, forced two turnovers and returned them for touchdowns. I like to dive into numbers, we could, & we could pull this defense apart. Poor rush lanes, no fill linebackers, no gap control, no edge setting. But they won & only gave up 13 pts, stopped numerous short 4th down plays and while they resembled the defense of last year, earlier this season, they came up big once again, just like they did against Russle Wilson and Tom Brady. Some rust to shake off for Smith, some learning I guess for Carr playing safety. But the middle has to be secured; d line, backers. A really big test comes this week. Loving the 7-2, so much fun to watch.

7-2 who'ld have thunk it! Awesome
-
They must have told Sam, no return... That was a lousy punt...
-
Oh, that'll work, a field goal.....
-
I need a pick 6 or a fumble rumble here folks....
-
Wow nice way to read the receiver Humphrey. Roughing the passer, BWil planted the passer....
-
Foolish, great defensive play, I understand they want to get bonus money to their players like Snead and RG, but jeepers, end the game, it's over
-
Right!
-
Gus runs down hill, love that guy
-
Wow, RG has ONLY been in the league for 6 years, seemed longer..
-
Nice stand, now build that running game; Ingram and Gus bus time; all aboard!
-
I would give to Snead, poor guy was open two times for touchdowns and Lamar threw to a tight end and Brown.
-
Ugh, special teams still has issues
-
Yeah RG time, let him get some snaps toward bonus money
-
Rumble fumble touchdown!
-
To shorten the game, rest the defense, lessen the risk of injury to Lamar
