Learning to draw papa? Abstract? Yeah this should be interesting, the PS might be filled with receivers...

I had a new thread that would not post, odd, so now I chopped out the harsh criticism of the front office and it posted.... They are watching me.... Heheh just kidding..

Oh, yes, so who sticks? Likely 2 spots open for Assuming Is true... White, if he cam stay healthy is a great slot back and a slippery return man too boot, but the key is health. Scott has the potential upside, great body control, hands catcher, circus catches, but he struggles with concentration on the easy ones... Sounds like a Clarence Moore type, man did he make great plays in practice... 12 players drafted, how many make the team? Also in the article is thr snippet that the Ravens tried to move BACK UP in thr draft after gathering all those 6th & 7th round picks but got no takers, of course. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bs-sp-ravens-news-notes-20180503-story.html

About time Ozzie makes a smart move on a player

As if they had a choice, he gave them no reasons to think he can make. Bet he is gone shortly before camp ends.. -
Matt Ryan get extended, $100 mil guarenteed.
tsylvester replied to tsylvester's topic in NFL General
According to Espn, in the last 15 years no team has won the Super Bowl while paying a qb 15% or more of its cap... -
Redskins Used Cheerleaders: Topless Photo Shoots and an Uneasy Night Out
tsylvester replied to vmax's topic in NFL General
Well, they were , according them, just dates, still, not good. And I am sorry, but when you dress up in skimpy outfits and shake what your parents made, for a living, you can not, NOT, make the claim that your employer is " objectifying" you. You are doing that on your own. With that said, each job has rules, you agree to those rules when you take the job. Should the rules change while employed, then there are 3 choices; fight the rule changes legally, quit, or agree to them. Making fun of someone's religious beliefs is not cool as some other team has been accussed of, but if Danny Boy's cheer team leaders did have the girls do things contrary to their job description, then heqds need to be cut off, either end.... -
$30 mil per year... $150 mil total Is he worth it? Sure, great qb until the 4th quarter of playoff games.... But give him a defense and watch out... I think, as we have talked about for years now, the league HAS to make cap exemptions soon, yes? This is nuts. Rogers, who has won the big game and for me is a better qb, is going to top $200, I would bet. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000931322/article/matt-ryan-falcons-agree-to-fiveyear-150m-contract

How fast is the (Lamar Jackson) clock ticking for Joe Flacco?
tsylvester replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
The sooner he plays the higher the odds go that he has a long, successful career in the NFL. -
RAVENS AWARDED ANOTHER ROOKIE, AND HE'S FROM GERMANY
tsylvester replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
He played fullback and line backer. I hope they give him a shot at inside backer, he is athletic and a good size. Best of luck to him -
I've watched every one of his games, even mentioned him to crav on here how cool it would be for him to play with this team, IF.... That was his sophmore year and I hoped he would start getting stronger and have better foot work and hand placement. To this date, he was the same player as he was back then; lazy. Maybe he gets hia act together and learns the skills he needs, this team needs, but I don't expect it..

Old, don't put too much stock in the Wonderlic score, many test poorly. Sure, in the Super Bowl era, very few quarterbacks won a Super Bowl with a score less than average. However, teaching in football is catching up to that of the class room; you find out how a person learns, then you teach them that way. Sure, part II, no running qb has won a Super Bowl either and no, Steve Young and Russel Wilson do not count. Young didn't win until he learned to be a passing qb under the greatest coach and behind one of the greatest qbs of all time. Wilson was always a scrambler not a runner, big difference. With all that said, the game is changing, so eventually one will win it but yes they have to learn to throw, run as the last resort. I know he wants to learn, he tried that last season, better overall numbers.. Of note, 16, 15 were the scores for Terry Bradshaw and Dan Marino respectively.

I'll go with a C+ for now. I love the Andrews pick, dependable pass catcher, knows how to get open, makes the tough catch. He is an average blocker, not great, more like Heap was, he gets in the way more than blocks. Brown is the biggest question mark, he is slow footed, doesn't use his hands well, would rather lean on defenders rather than power them off the ball. He struggles with footwork against quick defenders and gets lost in the second level... Still, his potential is there. Jackson is a great pick IF, he can adjust to the NFL, throw timing and touch routes, get his mechanics fixed, learn to read a defense. I don't like the price they paid for him, nor going into the season with a lame duck quarterback and coach. One bad play by Joe and it will be fans clamoring for Jackson to start, ready or not. The rest are who knows, Bozeman is a solid late pick at center, he is smart, good hand works, he could be a great one.

Ravens take Jaleel Scott, New Mexico St wide out, 6'-4" 218... A plodder with decent hands,

Max, you know me, just my honest, educated opinion. Get some right, get some wrong, but I love talking football. I hope for the best...
-
Next up they pick, Kenny Young lb UCLA. FFast thin guy, special teams player...

I love Andrews, much more than Hurst. Andrews is a slightly smaller Jason Witten type, that on it's own was a great pick.
