  1. Unless he wants to become a kicker I don't see it. Like Spen said I'm sure Ed Reed would be playing for us till he's 40 but football's a young mans game and the team is in the business of winning.
  2. by 39 he'll be lucky to be walking without the aide of cane
  3. Not always Xmas for Ravens fans. We sit around waiting to open our gift just to have Oz take it back for 2 less satisfying presents later.
  4. Martin's the most logical pick since there's a need. I'd love Ebron but he'll be gone. Dix will be gone too.
  5. ERB'S back : Rick vs Walter White
  6. Its a crap shoot with QBs, look at the 1998 draft. One of the greatest/greatest bust going 1/2. Another QB I like was Lienart, but never made the transition. Draft anaylis on Ryan Leaf: Leaf appears to be the hot QB in this draft, and he led WSU to a storybook season...He is a physically imposing QB with great size and strength....he is very sturdy and durable in the pocket, and is a surprisingly good athlete for his size...He has a strong arm and shows good touch, and can change up the speed on his passes...He has good feet, but is not really a scrambler. However, he can stand in and take the big hits....He is a very naturally gifted player, but could improve on his throwing mechanics, although it is not a major problem....There are no physical or athletic limitations to hold Leaf back from becoming a great NFL QB. However, there appears to be some minor nagging questions in the area of maturity and his mental approach to the game. He is perceived as not always an easy guy to work with, and he tends to beat to his own drummer...As good as he is, he can have some streaks on the field where he looks like he has forgotten everything he has been taught...There seems to be a nagging question here that something might be missing, but it may be hard to verbalize it...However, Leaf made all the right moves at the end of his season when he declared for the NFL draft...Unless he turns some teams off in individual interviews between now and the draft, he should have no problems....Nobody will question his physical abilities, and it is not outlandish to think that he could be the first pick of the draft, instead of Peyton Manning....There is a huge upside with Leaf, and it is conceivable that he could be one of the best young QB’s in the game in 2-3 years...His ability to play as physical as he does and take the hits that will obviously come, when playing for a team that obviously doesn’t have a very good OL, will help him get over the tough times as a team builds around him.
  7. Leftwich would have been a slight upgrade over Boller but not much, and we wouldn't have gotten Suggs.
  8. From what I remember we almost drafted Bryon Leftwich too.
  9. Pretty solid on paper. I'll feel more confident after the draft... RT,FS, RB, maybe a CB or ILB.
  10. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/WR-LaQuan-Williams-Re-Signs-With-Ravens/88a8637f-6904-44a8-a519-5daacc8826b8 Whats this another ''depth'' move? I'm hoping we still get on in the draft above the 4th round.
  11. Thats perfect... Danny Boy can go build a stadium on a reservation. Imagine all the tax money he could save. Have a casino right in the stadium, employ the "original Americans" to clean the toilets and serve drinks. Then he can write a letter to the season ticket holders saying he's doing them a favor.
  12. You think the Cards would pay that price to move up 3 spots...
  13. Unless someone gives us a good deal (like a #1 next and #2 this year) I wouldn't do it. Harbs and Oz have said that its great getting a top 20 pick this year. We can get a starting safety or Rt at 17 and I'm fine with that.
  14. Dline hasn't been mentioned too much... how about about a DE or DT?
  15. At least he didn't waste the teams time at training camp. My guess is his heart was never really in football. If it were me I'd wing it for a few more years and make a couple extra million.

  17. I'm feeling good about the secondary this year. Webb a full year into recovery, Smith hitting his prime. I like Chyke and Asa in the 3rd CB spot, even if they look bad in the preseason you can a nickle CB somewhere. We know they'll go somewhere to get a FS whether its the first or second round.
  18. VIP bathroom... padded floors, double capacity, the works
  19. The Atlantic City Bills.... $$$$$$$$$$$ get it!
  20. If OZ drafts him they'll dedicate a restroom to him at The Hippo.
  21. Any mention of the Ravens in the movie?
