I like all three too. Money brought up a good point that Allan had a bad preseason but is a great special teams guy. Rainey may never be used as a 3rd string back so maybe hes the odd man out. As far as the receivers go I think Doss stays since Harbs and Joe has always liked him. Thompson will go to IR.

I really like Brown based off of what Ive seen. I was just saying dont jump the gun and proclaim him as anything but a unproven rookie. Ravens have had a long laundry list of WRs that never panned out... Johnson, Clarence Moore, DD, Hymes, Clayton, Demetris Williams,Yamon Figurs, yada yada yada. I will admit after drafting TSmith Ozzie has had better success at WR

Yeeeeah sure

Jumping the gun a little Oldschool? I remember Randy Hymes having a good preseason once.
-
I'm not trying to make this a Stealer debate.... but I'll post a link saying Ben should be MVP
-
Williams didn't play so my guess is Harbs has seen what he needed to see. I think they'll put Thompson on IR. Mallette and Brown earned a spot IMO. Crav's right about Doss.
-
Rainey, mallette, and brown proving they deserve a spot

Don't everybody talk at once now!

Its hard to be MVP when your injured half the season.

I was about 18-19 when 9/11 hit. I was all for the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq. I thought these countries would embrace democracy and western ideas. A decade later I see nothings really changed. Egypt at one time the most stable of the Arab Nations now going down Syria's path. Stay out of Syria, no real good can come from it. My guess is well send in a few cruise missiles and that'll be it. I don't get the WMD argument either.. The Govt may have gasses 300 civilians = thats horrible, war crime, intolerable. The Govt uses tanks to wipe out a town killing thousands of people = frowned apon ?

My thought too. I thought they were getting desperate getting him and maybe Mason to come of retirement.

Hensley predicts us to go 11-5. His 8-8 3rd place prediction last year was slightly off. This is as damaging as the Pitta injury. http://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/73832/ravens-season-prediction-11-5 This is the most popular prediction for the defending Super Bowl champions this year: TheBaltimore Ravens will not reach the playoffs after losing Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and Anquan Boldin. But that is focusing on what the Ravens have lost and not what they have added. The Ravens are not a rebuilding team. They are still very much a playoff team. Other than Boldin, you can make the argument that Ravens have either adequately filled all of their voids or improved in those spots from last season. The defense, which ranked 17th last season, upgraded its pass rush with Elvis Dumervil and its front seven with defensive lineman Chris Canty and inside linebacker Daryl Smith. There are more concerns with the offense, especially after losing tight end Dennis Pitta to a dislocated hip. Baltimore, though, still has quarterback Joe Flacco and playmakers such as running back Ray Rice and wide receiver Torrey Smith. The Ravens have been the surest bet when it comes to the playoffs. No other team has been to the postseason the past five seasons, and the Ravens have done enough this offseason to keep them as the favorites to win a third straight AFC North title. It is difficult to imagine the Ravens capturing the same magic from last season's playoff run, but they are talented and experienced enough to reach the AFC Championship Game again.

Probably... Vegas also said the O's wouldn't win 60 games
-
The AFCN is the only division I think that can field 3 playoff teams. Patsies are alone in the AFCE, AFCS has HOU and Indy..Ten and Jax aren't nothing. The west just has Denver. NFC wise.... NFCE Dallas chokes and NYG are so iffy. NFCN has a GB but flaky teams in DET,Chi and Min. NFCS has two good teams.. if TB and Car play better that could be the best division. NFCW has two great teams but ARZ and the Lambs arent going anywhere.

Its sad that Tyrod got hurt. It'll be hard judging Mallete, Brown, Doss with 2 scrubs throwing the ball.
-
I saw those odds on a different site. That's from Vegas...its not her list.
-
Mvp is all about putting up big numbers... Joe will never be high on that list. They can keep it.
-
Its a must win game for some teams.

I guess it depends on whats the definition of mobile. I don't think Oldschool is going to put Rodgers in the same mobile category as RG3. I believe the OP was talking about the extreme mobile side: RG3, Vick, Kap, Tyrod..etc
-
The only time PigPen or Rodgers run is when the pocket breaks. You dont see those two running the read option or wildcat?
-
Rex made his own media monster. When you have a "butt fumble" insident you've lost all credibility.I have no problem with him playing in the 4th quarter. We were playing Tyrod in the 4th and he got his bell wrung.
-
Hamilton placed on IR. Berry,Mo Lee...and some others cut Feel bad for Hall. Dropped 50 lbs because the coaches wanted him to play LB then cut him.

Masaqui went to the Jets.

1)1st team D did a great job....dsmith..Webb..Bwilliams 2) This is a bad reciever corps. Stokley looks miles ahead of Doss 3) First pick was on Doss, seconds clearly on Joe 4) Pierce was thinking too much in the backfield 5) brown made a good case at wr, did a great job finding soft spots.
