  1. With Bell and Blount duo charged with Mary Jane possession, I guess you might dub them the "doobie brothers" Who knows, maybe they will soon be "takin it to the streets"
  2. Yep and many nails - about 37 of em' - to keep hammering in !
  3. Taliaferro and the O-Line, assuming they mesh well, could add a very important dimension to our offense. At the very least, it would make our offense more productive and efficient. In the most optimistic terms; he, Pierce and Rice (after suspension) could resemble the 3 headed monster (McLain, McGahee and McLain) from about 3-4 years ago. That was a pretty lethal unit and afforded Joe and receiving corps many, many options. Throw in Kubiak's game planning, we could witness some good stuff.
  4. Must keep foot on pedal and prep for October
  5. Heard Jiminez was relegated to bullpen. Good move Buck!
  6. Max, you are spot on with that prediction.
  7. Yep. And get another CB - via team cut, free agency - ready for the bullpen.
  8. Crav, I am feeling a stretch run and hoping Buck and Co continue to roll
  9. Heading down the home stretch, Buck might have some maneuvering to do with SPs. Based on their success thus far and Jimenez' lack thereof, I d suggest (in no particular order): Tillman Chen Gausman Norris Gonzales These are our most consistent, successful starters. Regarding Jiminez, I'd keep him as spot starter - use only when we are facing a teams worst starter or some journeyman or makeup game. Otherwise, get him use to long relief as a middle reliever. Whatever he was going to do this year, we should have seen it by now. Thoughts or comments ?
  10. The loss and absence of defensive leadership is rearing its head. We were spoiled for years by those great leaders on the field - Ray and Ed. We may never see a pair , even just one , like that again on this D. In the meantime, leadership needs to emerge from someone - Suggs, Ngata, ? - in order for this team to be competitive or viable in this league.
  11. Time to turn this ship around. C'mon boys, lets get this party started in the series finale before heading to Chi-town !
  12. But we are 5-0 against Ron Mexico eh ?!
  13. But we are 5-0 against Ron Mexico eh ?!
  14. Don't be surprised if we get swept - in a bit of a big giant funk our boys are. What happened to that team that smoked the Cards a week ago ?
  15. I want to see Bazooka Joe go off and the O line dominate again - similar to last week . And 0 injuries .
  16. Yes, but Davis is living below the Mendoza line and consistently whiffing with men in scoring position. The others.......yes but not so much. It's a team sport and Buck needs to juggle the lineup and either take Davis out or stick him at the bottom. Time to nip this in the bud.
  17. A healthy Webb (and Smith) could make the difference between a better than/worse than .500 season.
  18. Max, We had a shot at some serious runs that inning. Instead, we whiffed and let Kluber off the hook. Changed the whole game right there.
  19. Maybe Buck ought to put Hardy at #2 spot . Better yet, just do it and now. Don't know what to do with Davis. It's a head scratcher !
  20. Buck's got a tough decision to make on Davis. He's look lost at the plate all season and is now looking totally helpless. At the very least, he's got to move him out of the 2nd spot and put him near the bottom. The problem: with whom do you replace him ? He needs to so something while we wait for Machado to return.
  21. Boring indeed....its like watching paint dry, eh ?
  22. I hope you are right, Crav
  23. I understand he is not due back until after the 2nd pre-season game. Beyond that, does anyone know his current health condition and his likely return date ? News on his condition/return has been pretty sparse.
  24. Yep. Whatever Thompson was going to do, he probably should have done it by now.
  25. To say Buck is unassuming is the understatement of the year. He has quietly become a great fit for the Os. Its easy to watch him every day and take him for granted. Baltimore and this organization are very fortunate to have Buck. And the feeling seems to be mutual. Pretty cool stuff !
