Well that translates to my philosophy about jokes or saying things about the dead. If someone makes jokes about them while they are alive why does it somehow change whne they die? Like Michael Jackson being a kid toucher jokes are funny when he was alive and the next die you can't speak ill of the dead. That said if Bradshaw had an issue with Noll when he was alive then I respect that he stands by it when the man dies.
Agreed. But that is why I have said throwing WR's open. Also there are times when he should have pulled the trigger and he didn't and takes a sack. I also will never get that sack he took in th ePO's when he was chased out of the pocket and he ran out of bounds for about a 7 yd loss. Any dolt would have thrown the ball away.
That rec corps in SF was Q and Davis until Crabtree came back. Had they had Crabtree all season then the NFCC probably would have been played in SF and not in Sea. That is a very different game. I said Q, Torrey and Pitta made Joe look good. Never once mentioned Rice.
That was not the question that was posed to me. I was asked what not star QB's I would take. I gave 3. I did not say they should have drafted him in that they couldn't have. Again if Marino had good WR's and TE's during his tenure he would have been sick. He never had a RB. The D's were so so.
I think Luck is going to be one of the greatest. Right now I don't think he caries the choking gene but he has to get to that spot to show if he does or not. Wilson while not being a stat machine gets the job done. He finds a way to make positive plays all the time. Eli has shown when put in the right situation he can do the job. Now Cam could have been a huge issue there but as a player I would take him before Joe.
Eli, Luck, or Wilson. But I would have put the team in position to draft the QB they wanted this yr. I liked Manziel, Bridgewater, Savage, and and Garappollo.
No not really. If I had to make a choice I would take the gold plated QB cog over the tin cog of Flacco. Flacco won a lot of games with the help of his team. Marino never got over the top because he was always lacking parts to get there. With what the Ravens have had over the last several yrs I could see Marino in his hayday I see the Ravens in at least 3 SB's.
Manning is a loser when it counts. Joe isn't. I can look at games that Manning gave away on his own but 95% of the time the QB is just another cog on the team. Vinny should have had many more wins in the first couple of yrs. The D was so horrific that the team lost.
A football team has 45 players on game day. I don't give a rats ass about W-L's for 1 guy. It is meaningless. I don't put many L's on Marino because the team decided RB's weren't worth having. He carried that team for a very long time. I would take Marino 100 times out of 100 compared to Joe.
