I totally agree. Ozzie made the deal not Harbs. They were going to cut him so they got something.
-
Really that contract they gave him has been barely productive. The first yr he was fat. He had 2 great seasons. Last yr he was injured and this yr he was there for a half a season. So really added together he had 3 yrs of production. It is a brutal position and few can be great for the long term.

I had the misfortune to watch some halfwit on Ch 45 this morning. Her voice was dumb and she said things that proved it. She was doing poor experiments to show how cold it was.

I still have a lot more to put up and go over their tapes.

I love both your coordinators. They are both very talented.

COACH WILBERT MONTGOMERY FIRST SCAPEGOAT
papasmurfbell replied to rastaman831226's topic in Baltimore Ravens
He is doing national on the weekends. I figure Rob and Vinny go national soon and he will make more money doing radio without the stress. -
I believe Elvis is 31 next yr. Basically they will move on after 2 more yrs.
-
I think they try to trade him but if they can't I see him cut. They are not going to extend him now. His skills are going. He has had some major injuries lately. You have to ride with Ngata. Get what production you can and move on.

That is basically what it is.

I saw whatshisface on Fox who use to run the officials say it was the best officiating of the season. I said to myself that it couldn't get worse than what the season was like.

Beginning of the end for Caldwell?

Totally agree. Amazing how nepotism is more important than success. -

Vinny and Rob also said that Cam would not be fired last yr. -
Denver and NE are the only 2 teams that differ from the rest of the AFCN.

Malcolm Mitchell**, WR, Georgia Height: 6-1. Weight: 192. Projected 40 Time: 4.57. Projected Round (2014): 2-4. 12/21/13: Mitchell's season ended before it began as he tore an ACL in the 2013 opener against Clemson. It remains to be seen if Mitchell will enter the NFL or return to Georgia for 2014. 8/3/13: Mitchell could easily rise up the rankings as a junior and senior. He was the second and third option the past two seasons behind the likes of Tavarress King and Orson Charles. Mitchell totaled 40 receptions for 572 yards and four touchdowns in 2012. The sophomore also averaged 23 yards per kick return. Mitchell has some serious speed and explosiveness. He could produce a big 2013 season as the No. 1 receiver for Aaron Murray. Martavius Bryant*, WR, Clemson Height: 6-5. Weight: 200. Projected 40 Time: 4.57. Projected Round (2015): 2-4. 12/21/13: Bryant hasn't had the breakout season that many expected. He has 39 receptions for 800 yards and five touchdowns. Bryant came alive against Georgia Tech with five receptions for 176 yards and one touchdown. Bryant had a disappointing performance in the season opener as he dropped a few passes that could have been big plays for Clemson. Bryant didn't record a reception against Georgia, but he did recover the onside kick that clinched the 38-35 win for the Tigers. 8/24/13: Even though Bryant is tall, he has some speed to stretch the field. He averaged 30 yards per catch while totaling 305 yards on 10 receptions and four touchdowns. As a freshman, he caught nine passes for 221 yards and two scores. With DeAndre Hopkins in the NFL, Bryant should see more targets in 2013. He also has one of the best quarterbacks in the nation to work with in Tajh Boyd. I could find no video. Austen Hill*, WR, Arizona Height: 6-3. Weight: 210. Projected 40 Time: 4.58. Projected Round (2014): 2-4. 12/21/13: Hill didn't play in 2013. He shoul return to school next year. 8/3/13: Hill had a massive 2012 season for Arizona and was one of the top receivers in the Pac-12. He caught 81 passes for 1,364 yards and 11 touchdowns. The sophomore absolutely destroyed USC with 10 catches for 259 yards. Hill also had big games against Stanford (11-165-2) and Nevada (8-175-2). It was a tremendous season that saw him become Matt Scott's No. 1 receiver. Hill had 21 catches for 311 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman backup. Unfortunately, Hill tore his ACL in April and that makes it unlikely he'll play in 2013. Hill should probably return to Arizona for the 2014 season before entering the draft. Personal: Psychology major. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lj9m8FJ9zns http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EaXE_FdpX8

Donte Moncrief*, WR, Ole Miss Height: 6-3. Weight: 226. Projected 40 Time: 4.53. Projected Round (2014): 2-4. 12/21/13: Moncrief has had a mildly disappointing season as Ole Miss had a star freshman who has received a lot of targets. In 2013, Moncrief has 53 receptions for 825 yards and five touchdowns. He didn't do much against Alabama (6-60), but played well against Auburn (6-122) and LSU (5-107). 8/3/13: Moncrief broke out last season and was one of the better wide receivers in the SEC. The sophomore notched 66 receptions for 979 yards and 10 touchdowns as the primary target for quarterback Bo Wallace. Moncrief had some huge games against Texas (7-144-1), LSU (6-161-2) and Mississippi State (7-173-3). He had a lot of success beating Mississippi State cornerback Johnthan Banks (second-round pick Tampa Bay) and LSU cornerback Tharold Simon (fifth-round pick Seattle) in man coverage. Moncrief ran a lot of vertical routes last year and did a superb job of stretching the defense. He burned defensive backs deep throughout 2012 and could have had a bigger season if some passes had been thrown more accurately. Moncrief has some burst with deceptive deep speed. Considering he is a big receiver, he could stand to play more physical football and should be a better blocker. The junior should make improvements in those areas in 2013. Moncrief had 31 catches for 454 yards and four touchdowns in 2011. He has already hinted that this could be his last season at Ole Miss. Personal: Son of Nineta and Spencer Moncrief. Cousin of former Ole Miss wide receiver Shay Hodge. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNmiRu3Kcf0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1n9nnWF8Do

Davante Adams**, WR, Fresno State Height: 6-2. Weight: 216. Projected 40 Time: 4.57. Projected Round (2015): 2-4. 12/21/13: Adams had a huge night against Rutgers to open this season. He caught 14 passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns. All year, Adams has been reliable for Derek Carr as Fresno State's aerial offense has lit up the scoreboard. Adams has 122 receptions for 1,645 yards and 23 touchdowns. He had huge games against Idaho (16-185), UNLV (8-221), New Mexico (9-246) and San Jose State (13-264). Adams has the speed to beat defenses deep, but he was also dominating a weak level of competition. 8/24/13: Adams had an impact redshirt freshman year working with quarterback Derek Carr. Adams caught 102 passes for 1,312 yards with 14 touchdowns. In 2013 he should see plenty of double coverage but with Carr coming back they should produce a big season. Personal: Son of Pamela Brown and Douglas Adams. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKxsZoFpZ2o Kasen Williams*, WR, Washington Height: 6-2. Weight: 216. Projected 40 Time: 4.55. Projected Round (2014): 2-4. 12/21/13: Williams played well for Washington this season with 29 receptions for 421 yards and a touchdown. He fractured his leg, so his season is over. Williams should return to Washington in 2014. 8/3/13: Williams had a very impressive sophomore season. Even though the Huskies have a tremendous tight end in Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Williams ended up leading the team in receiving. He did that despite quarterback Keith Price having a disappointing year. Williams totaled 77 receptions for 878 yards and six touchdowns in 2012. His only 100-yard receiving game of the season came against Stanford (10-129). Williams has good size with exceptional leaping ability to make catches over defenders. The junior needs to show the speed and quickness to consistently get separation. He hurt his stock over the summer with a traffic arrest on suspicion of DUI. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SlhkfzVUM8

Devin Street, WR, Pittsburgh Height: 6-4. Weight: 190. Projected 40 Time: 4.57. Projected Round (2013): 2-4. 12/21/13: Street had an impressive start to the 2013 as he ripped off some big plays against a talented Florida State secondary. The senior totaled six receptions for 141 yards. He beat double coverage on a few throws and showed some run-after-the-catch ability. Street has maintained a strong level of play with 51 receptions for 854 yards and seven touchdowns on the season. The biggest question mark with him is if he has the speed to get open in the NFL. 8/3/13: Street has been a solid contributor for Pittsburgh the past few seasons. He was second on the team in yards in 2012 and led the Panthers in receptions with 73. The junior totaled 975 yards and five touchdowns. Street had 53 catches for 754 yards and two touchdowns in 2011. He had 25 catches for 318 yards and two touchdowns as a redshirt freshman. Street is a big receiver, but he may lack the speed for the NFL. Personal: Majoring in communications. Son of Theodore and Ria Street. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4q0eE7M858 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Co19DMp0a54
