Yes I do remember both, the one guy died and they never recovered his body....Watched a documentary on sink holes and while there are a few in our area, nothing compares to the sinkholes west of I-4 towards Tampa, there is an area over there called Plant City, its a mega place where they sell plants and veggies, they are blaming the irrigation system used to water the 1000's of acres of fields. They even went as far as actually going into a cavern 100 ft deep and saying this was how high the water table was at one time before Plant City boomed..
