  1. Fantastic!
  2. I went to the game today and was pretty happy after the first half. The second half they sucked. Luckily one half was good enough to beat the Browns.
  3. I think we need to worry about every road game we play.
  4. Well that helps....I am really worried about the Cincy game now.
  5. Sounds great, enjoy!
  6. I do not think we should be surprised how the team played yesterday. This was their 4th loss in 7 road games and beyond that in those four losses the team has played terribly. This is as much their identity this season as anything else. 10-4 really is a good record, but because of the teams the Ravens have beat and the teams they lost to it really tarnishes it in my opinion.
  7. I think Joe has certainly taken a step back this season. He has had a few tremendous games but hes had a lot of bad ones too. He has already thrown more INTs this season that last and his fumbles have increased. He still locks onto his targets and still seems to not see defenders that are just waiting for him to throw the ball. He holds onto the ball forever still. I still do not think he has progressed much if at all from his rookie year. Its going to be interesting how his contract talks go. He thinks he is Top 5 and will want a nice contract. I have to think the front office at least has some doubts about the ceiling for the team as long as Joe is the QB. I am pretty convinced that unless Joe lucks into a Dilfer like situation, with a once in a generation type defense, he is not good enough to go all the way. He certainly does not seem to be a big game QB, while he has had a few great important games most of the others and most of his playoff games have been duds. Of course that could be because of Cam Cameron being too conservative, or Cam being too aggressive, or new receivers, or an offensive line that cannot keep him protected for 8 seconds while he looks around the field before he dumps it 4 yards to Ray Rice, or the moon out of alignment or something.
  8. I'll say we have it at least Ok, we have it good if we win out. If we do not that means we would have lost to at least 4 teams we shouldn't have - a full quarter of the season. Granted one could argue that we won some we shouldn't have but that doesn't excuse losing to the Titans, Jags, and Seahawks and playing so poorly in those losses. If we win out it wont matter, if we don't and have to travel in the playoffs I am not sure its a good season. I hate to feel that a would be 12-4 record would not be a good season, it really is - but for the bad losses makes it that way.
  9. I was more worried by the almost interception Joe threw.
  10. I never was, I just thought it was nice of you to make the offer. I am happy enough with the one I have. After this long I finally have all the settings the way I like so I no longer fool with it every time we watch a movie and irritate my wife!
  11. Oh I thought this was a masturbation euphemism.
  12. They really played well today. The Browns had periods of time where they just could not stop the run. If Cundiff would have been better the game would have been over a lot earlier.
  13. Yes, thats what I meant. I could have been clearer. Sorry if you thought it was a dig Cravn.
  14. Its always a compliment. I was being serious.
  15. You're a nice guy Cravn. It's nice to "know" you.
  16. I wanted a system for the same reasons you listed. Not being a huge audiophile I wanted ease so I bought a "Home Theater in a Box" from Sony for around $250. I liked it much more than I expected. I think surround sound adds a lot to DVDs and HD movies. I never expected to like it as much as I do. My wife had big doubts but she likes it a lot as well. Sometimes I use it for sports, but mainly I use it for movies both On Demand and DVDs. Because of how much I like the surround sound I'd be wary of the sound bars. I know it simulates sounds from different areas, and some do it well, but I wonder how it compares to actual speakers spread out. Mine is about 5 years old now and I havent had a problem with it and it has been able to do everything I wanted. Again, I am not a huge audiophile but I like the way mine sounds and I have been happy with it for years now.
  17. I never liked the show enough to listen but I heard decent amounts when sitting in traffic jams waiting for traffic reports. I respected him and liked that he could disagree with others and do so civilly. I also liked how his viewpoints were his own and he didn't completely toe a party line.
  18. I hated the flying shield and the font for the numbers especially.
  19. Man I hated the old uniforms....
  20. I understand where he got control of the ball and I understand that per the rule the correct call was made. I just don't like the rule. I can only think of a few times where this rule has come up so if they changed it I hardly think it would dramatically change the game. If that exact same play happened against us and we lost there would be posters here posting conspiracy theories and stating how the league hates us.,
  21. In my opinion the Gresham TD (and the Johnson one from last year) should both have been catches and TDs. I know by rule they are not but that rule needs to be changed. They both had control, two feet in bounds in the end zone - the play should be over right then. Just like it is over for RBs and QBs who extend the ball over the goal line then fumble. Its a nonsensical rule IMO, one that is taking a catch - and in both instances the vast majority of talking heads believe its a catch except for this rule - and taking it away from the player. It hurts the game. Imagine how pissed off we all would be to have a key TD taken away like that.
  22. I got no complaints. If I was nit-picking I'd say that if the offense was better the game would have been 'over' sooner. But with the way the defense played - who cares? The defense was all over Smith. The O-line was good protecting Flacco. He was sharp when he needed to be. Very good win.
  23. Have a great day everyone. I lucked out and will be going to the game too. I go to a couple a year with a friend who takes a few of us to 2 games each, thinking this matchup was going to suck no one wanted it and this game fell to me. Lucky me!
  24. I dont often watch his show but I like him too. Funny, nice guy.
  25. Huge win. I think everyone played well, not flawless but well. Tory Smith was a difference maker as was Rice. Man that hair pull had to hurt! The defense was up and down. Tough loss for Cinncinatti, I'd be pissed if we lost that way. The touchdown they took back, I understand that according to the rules they were correct to do so; but to me thats a catch. Same with the Calvin Johnson one from last year. I do not like that rule.
