  1. I'm with you on the trade but word is CB's are in short supply everywhere.
  2. Yeah, they somehow need to keep Campanaro BUT they should give him more in-game action to see if he's the real deal.
  3. I'd hate to for us to use a WR spot on a guy that can just do returns. At this point, from what I've read, we're very deep in WR talent.
  4. He goes. If he can't catch, let him go. He's had plenty of time to develop.
  5. And I just LOVE the picture quality from WBAL.
  6. Well, the first offensive was weak. Only 1 running play?
  7. Not too worried at this point about either line. The secondary, though, is downright frightening without Webb, Smith, and at least an average third CB.
  8. No injuries. Hope the DB's can stop somebody (really concerned about that) At least one offensive series with the 1's that impresses me.
  9. We need a healthy Webb real bad.
  10. How many can we keep? Campanaro is supposed to be getting open often. The claim is he's a very good route runner, knows how to get open.
  11. Aiken deserves a spot and Deonte's time has come and gone.
  12. And we thought OL would be the problem and that our secondary was in good shape 3 months ago.
  13. Like I said, cheap is no good if it's no good talent. A few hundred thousand more isn't going to kill the Ravens $5 million cap space. But this is all moot. We have no idea at this point who might become available if anyone.
  14. That may require a trade of a draft choice. Oz will hate to do that but it might be necessary. There are times you can get an older vet to play for the vet minimum or a little above. I'm not saying get a starter, just an adequate backup. Shipley, based on what I saw last year and last game isn't adequate.
  15. Flacco will be fine. He won't have a problem with the new offense. Others might, but it sounds to me like he's really bought into Kubiak and his system.
  16. That doesn't do any good if they can't block.
  17. I don't think Tyrod is the answer for backup qb---at least not for us. In game situations he often looks to bail out and run the ball himself rather than wait a bit for a receiver to get open. I've never felt comfortable with him. He might have more of a chance with another team and a different system.
  18. Well at least some good injury news.
  19. Often you can get older average OL guys pretty cheaply. Shipley has to go.
  20. Two good finds, Max. I think re-signing Tucker might be even more important than Torrey Smith and I'm a big Torrey booster.
  21. I agree. And if there are any aging veterans who play O-line out there after the cuts by other teams, I'd like us to consider them. Shipley, Gradkowski, and Jah Reid could all be replaced for depth.
  22. I'm afraid Gradowski and Shipley have to go. They were letting the in the flood on passing plays.
  23. I did see Yanda and Wagner on a couple of combination blocks. That's a staple of Kubiak's system. What really impressed with Wagner was his ability to fight his man at the line of scrimmage rather than getting blown back into the backfield. But, it is just one pre-season game. We'll see how things go. We need more adequate backups on the O-line and, as we expected, help in the secondary.
