  1. Hey great interview Papa! It is much better than the toilet bowl site TMZ usually is. Flutie is really interesting and I always thought he was an underrated, underappreciated talent.
  2. What a stupid statement to make. Would make me question his ‘analysis’ of everything. Hard to tell if he’s just racist or ignorant. Or both.
  3. Have you noticed the increase in opposing hits on Lamar's legs? In the 49'ers game it seemed they went for his legs on every tackle. He's got to go down earlier even if it means getting 7 yards instead of 10.
  4. It's been a tough game since I started being a fan 61 years ago. Soooo many guys whose careers ended prematurely or who ended up being, at best, living in a fog. I love the game but really hate what it does to many of the players. The NFL needs to be 100% more proactive about health issues during and after their careers. I really worry now about all the shots Lamar is taking instead of sliding or going out of bounds. I don't want him ending up like Jamal.
  5. I have a real good feeling about this game. I just hope the Ravens stay focused. There is much more to accomplish. Having said that, Ravens 31 Bills 17.
  6. Just stay focused like a laser beam and keep winning!!!
  7. Next week it'll be tough playing the Bills in their stadium but I just have a feeling we have a big day anyway. I base that on the prediction for weather in Buffalo next Sunday which is currently that it will be 44 degrees and cloudy and no snow. If that holds I think our offense catches fire again.
  8. MVP hit maybe...but look who his competition was and the weather. I think he still leads. At least IMHO.
  9. My watch told me twice in the last. 5 minutes that my heart rate was too high!!! just a freaking great game. Lived up to the hype. Quite possibly a preview of the Super Bowl as predicted! Go Tuck! Go Lamar!
  10. 17!! Holy Cow!! I'll be happy with any margin of victory. 17 blows me away. I have to wrap my head around that before posting again.
  11. I agree and this game will be tough. I think this and the Browns' game will be present the greatest challenges to the Ravens for the rest of the year. As time passes I feel less sure about our chances to beat the Niners. A loss is overdue. But, with Lamar, you never count out the Ravens. They always have a chance.
  12. Yeah, I see a close one too. Like you, the Ravens by a hair.
  13. I was very sad to see Skura get hurt especially after the year he was having. He had overcome a lot of obstacles to reach the level he was playing at. Mekari slipped in to his starting role seamlessly playing a very clean game. When he was called on I thought “oh-oh. Now the fumbles on the snap will turn up but to his credit they never did.
  14. And here is how it all began: https://www.sportingnews.com/ca/nfl/news/ravens-lamar-jackson-nfl-draft-story/1f3xuu735y3n819b4d1k829szr
  15. Just read this in the article you posted: " He's also leading the league with his average of 16.4 points scored per game (30 total TDs), which represents 46.6 percent of the Ravens' league-leading 386 points."
  16. The cost for Ramsey was just too freakin' high. LA mortgaged their future giving up those draft picks and their organization is in total disarray due to overpaying contracts. And we thought we had it bad with Joe's contract! Marcus might be just a 9-game rental but he's worth it if our defense is now good enough to help the team win a Super Bowl.
  17. Very true and something that is usually forgotten by head coaches and fans when players are drafted and join their new teams. Lots of credit has to go to Harbs and Decosta for understanding that and agreeing to it and then props to G-Ro for the implementation. All the starts aligned for the Ravens and Lamar with the coaching staff and front office we have. And one more thing. Shout-out to Ozzie for moving back into the first round to make the pick. That move also gave us a 5th year option on Lamar.
  18. Probably the toughest foe of the season coming up...and I feel a new sensation setting in. A peaceful calmness. Hard to be worried after all we have witnessed in the last 8 games. I am L-O-V-I-N-G this shit!!!!
  19. These are good teams we've been playing---and either winning decisively or blowing them out. It really is an incredible once-in-a-lifetime run they're on. They've got to take better care with Lamar though. He took some hard shots tonight on his runs. But man is he elusive! And what a passer he's become!
  20. I just heard this one...no INT’s for Lamar in his 150 passed!
