  1. I lost the signal too but it was only a second. As for your ‘booger’, he talks way too much.
  2. The play by play is pretty cruddy too.
  3. What can I say? Lamar is hot and so are the defense and Ingram. No one right now could beat this team. Enjoy today and ride this thing as long as it lasts!!!
  4. Hmmm...not so sure about that last part.....the current QB coach has improved Lamar's passing by almost 100% in one season. I'd look to keep him on board if possible. Maybe he would be a good OC.
  5. Yep, I had read this too and thought it was so good I sent a copy for my wife to read. It gives the team a human touch.
  6. Anything's possible in the NFL but I see a Ravens victory and not a nail-biter. Figuring the Ravens by a touchdown.
  7. Should easily beat the Jets. It's playing on 3 days rest that bothers me. I want to wrap Lamar in bubble-wrap.
  8. A game following a long road-trip is always a challenge. It's tempting to want to rest and party on the West Coast. Many a good Baltimore team has unexpectedly lost on game/travel like this. But this is where Harbaugh flourishes by being able to keep the team focused. I see a Ravens win. Hate to look ahead but I'm more concerned by the Thursday night game coming up soon. It's an injury trap.
  9. For years I hoped to see an exciting Ravens offense. The closest they came before this season and last season was the playoff series and the Super Bowl of the 2012 season. Now, I get to watch one every freaking game! And now the defense is coming on. Congrats to Lamar, Greg Roman, the offensive line, the defensive secondary and the new pass rush. Lamar for MVP for sure now. Also kudos for Harbaugh for realizing he had an exceptional talent to build an offense around and then delegated the execution of that to G. Ro. and Lamar. Kudos also to Martindale for building an effective defense after a horrible early start to the season. Those 500 yards given up per game are now just a bad memory.
  10. It is shocking, Crav! I keep seeing new things every week that excite me. And where did this defense suddenly come from? The secondary is covering so well the qb's can't get off a throw before being snowed under by the Ravens D. Yup...just keep Lamar healthy. The whole team just feeds off of him.
  11. WOW! GREAT F---ING GAME! What a complete team win. They're on their way to the post season easily if they keep playing like this. I'm starting to think Super Bowl. Bring on the purple Kool-Aid!!!!!!!!
  12. Like i said...it's gonna be tough. It's almost like the Ravens vs. Ravens...teams are very similar. I'll go out on the limb and say a late FG by Tucker wins it 31-30.
  13. It was the most egregious foul I've seen in Football in all the years (60) I've been watching. I don't care what Rudolph said or did to him. As Max says, he could have killed the guy.
  14. Tsyl, if you keep this up, I'm going to have to read the book again and see the movie again!
  15. Gonna be tough. Watson gives the Houston offense a weapon the Ravens defense has not seen before. He's much like Lamar. Lamar has more moves and a bit more overall talent than DeShaun especially in leadership. Watson is a mobile pocket passer. Not as many runs but has the stats to infer he is the better passer. Lamar is more explosive and is the better leader. They are very close in ability but Houston has the better defense. I'm leaning towards Houston at this point because of that but could easily change my mind.
  16. We needed some depth and we got some...did the best we could do at this point in the season. Ellis is a known run-stuffer.
  17. Yup I worry about him too doing this in the future but for right now I'm in his corner all the way. He has no fear and does things no Raven has ever been capable of doing. No more snoozing when the offense is on the field. The defense is inconsistent. It's our Achilles heal. They have to upgrade a player or two there for next season. We need a better pass rush and another guy to complement what Pierce does. When he's not on the field the whole defensive line disappears.
  18. Good stuff, Tsyl! Interesting to see that book and movie series make it to our forum, too!
  19. The offense is red-hot and they pummeled a hapless Bengal team. It suddenly seems that Lamar can beat any team with his arm or legs. All-Pro candidate for sure. The defense...well the rush defense has had better days but the secondary, for the most part, played very well. It was a textbook example of a real football slaughter.
