I dunno about this. What exactly are they rewarding here? And every year he gives out less and less information to us. Bad from a PR standpoint.

Got this tidbit off ESPN's Jason la conforma: the Ravens expect Joe to practice next week. I hope a) his back is good, b) hope he can shake off the rust before the season starts, and c) hope offensive line doesn't get him killed this year. They need to find a way to keep a 3rd quarterback.

Abysmal is a good way to describe the offensive line for sure. I don't foresee a good season. I am far from convinced that Joe will be OK. The team has a history of downplaying (and even ignoring) injury news to the media so we're just supposed to take what little Harbaugh tells us on blind faith? Not anymore!

If Flacco hasn't practiced with two weeks to go, they should carry 3.

Give Woodrum a go next week. Let's see what he does with the first team.

If the defense plays this season like they did in the first few series of the pre-season game, I'll enjoy the games. Of course, it's only game 1 of the pre-season. But I'm glad they looked so good when they were in there. YES! The offense was always going to be a problem this year. We need another draft that's heavy on O picks before we will challenge again. But, the defense should be fun to watch this year and they're young and fast. The D will also keep us in most games. Kinda like a repeat of 2000. Kinda.

Super effort by the defense. They are fast and hungry. O-line had great pass protection but poor at opening holes to run. White, Reynolds were impressive. Mallet looked pretty pathetic. We need Joe or a better backup. Agree about the RBs...pretty poor. It's only the first preseason game. We'll have to see if the defense holds up. And if the O can get out of its own way. Really would like to see more starters in the first quarter next week.

Great pass protection but run game was awful in the first half. Mallet is not an answer if Joe stays hurt. The kid White was impressive as he was last week at the open practice at M&T. I don't think I really appreciated Flacco enough until watching the qb play tonight. Defense was even better than expected.

And he went for a second opinion last week. Prognosis was for a slow return according to Hensley.

According to Hensley, Howard hasn't been cleared by trainers yet so maybe conditioning test is the story. Or, maybe he hurt himself over the weekend moving here. That would be about par for this team, this training camp. Also Hensley says Joe had a second opinion last week and prognosis was for a'slow return.' Good news is hard to find for this team.

I like the move and it didn't cost us any draft picks like a trade would have.

With the limited money they have if they do anything at all it has to be the offensive line. I can live with the running backs we have if the O-line could just straighten out. There should only be a play for Kaep if Joe can't go. The offensive line is a mess.

Brace yourselves, guys. It's going to a long, bumpy season. I can't see this team coming anywhere near breaking even. With all these injuries they have a chance to go 3-13 and set a new Ravens' record for losses.

Thanks Max. I figure practice will last about 2 hours but i don't have any idea about the fireworks show (when does it start and end).

Can't seem to find this info anywhere. Does anybody know how long practice lasts and how long the fireworks show is?
