Yes! It's border line criminal how unconscious our leaders in the House, Senate and Executive branch are. Spineless. We stand to lose our best scientists to foreign countries who will make huge innovations and profits off them....while we strive, too late, to catch up. Then we will have to pay these countries to use what Americans developed. The reverse was true during WW2. We got the german scientists, split the atom, made rockets and developed all the technology that went with that. We're heading 3rd World. I call it hustling backwards.

America has gained great wealth through science and technology and a financially secure and prosperous future is right in front of us if we go all in on green technology... But....we'd rather live in 1900 and perhaps, not live at all.

Here's a ray of sunshine through the smog.... Now if we can wake up and dump Trump the USA will get back into the solution.

Back in 1st! Castillo comes through again. It's a long season but this team is in the hunt. Right in the thick of things. Not playing perfect baseball but they are an exciting team and fun to watch.

tick tock...

Nice win last night and Castillo saves the day. With all this losing the O's are only 1/2 game back.

OK...good post identifying some of the Invisible players. There's a ton more....Now...identify those who will step up and be solid contributors. I'll give my list tomorrow or Saturday. This is not the ship that you want to sail on this season....and we know who the Captain is...
-
OK. Just don't forget to duck when you have to drive through those sections to get into the city.

This is Rthsslxxsbrrrgrrr's last year. His heads not in the game much less his body. He won't make it through the season.
-
the Stealers may not make it. It's twilight time for Rthsslxxssbrrrgrrrr....Bell's had surgery....their D is not that good....same for their coach
-
crav! Help me out with these people here. "Ok. Ok. So you're having a hard time seeing it."

It's "Morning Ladies!"

That's the only way the Ravens will have a good offense this year. I read this quote from Campanaro.... Now...these "Guys" have been invisible so far...Perriman, Campanaro, Moore, Matthews...... So the Purple Kool Aid here is that all of a sudden, out of nowhere, these guys become reliable, key receiving targets! They have been hiding in the wings and now they will rise to the occasion and passing game solved! The same thing is going to happen with the O line. Yes it is! I swear!! Currently, there are 2 invisible guys who will man this line with Stanley, Lewis and Yanda and turn it into one solid O line. Ozzie knows this. He knows what he's been hiding, developing and cooking in God's oven. That's why he went all D in the draft! He's the architect of 2 Super Bowl rosters and he's working on his third. In August 2000 who saw a Super Bowl that year? We were all hoping for our first winning season...maybe go 9-7. Who in August 2012 saw that coming? Other than crav. The key to this is to suspend logic, disbelief and scepticism. That's for corporate dumbies. What you have seen in the past is not what you are going to see now! We must have faith in our team, coaches and players. These guys..."Our Guys"...believe in themselves. And I'm with them. They are going to fight, scrap and claw their way out of being invisible to being visible. Just like the leaves just did. One minute...not there. Next...Boom! Part of being a fan...fanatic...is not being rational. Something that has come easily to me all my life. i can see this happening. Can't you? So we got an O nobody saw coming. The D becomes as advertised for this year. We got Tucker. Boom! Super Bowl!

That's basically the whole city.

These streaks happen to all teams. The Stankies are on a 3 game loser too. Still in 1st place
-
They need a good blocking TE too. This line, whoever the starters are, has got to be able to dish it back. There's a lot of small DE's, speed guys who you can wear out. But you have to stay engaged our they will break away and make the tackle. Beat them into the dirt. Then they will stand a chance of winning the 4th quarter. Strength and conditioning are a big part of this.

I'm looking. I want to buy in. I'm drinking the purple Kool Aid..got my trusty glue bag out.......but I'm not quite sure that I see it yet.... http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Eisenberg-Ravens-Thinking-Big-Really-Big-With-Offensive-Line/78bfe962-a09c-453e-a185-d4abb5e8da98 Vinny had a massive O line. Jamal had his road graders. Joe had one for that playoff super bowl run. But...but...some parts are missing. Jenson's a big nasty boy...but he commits too many penalties. Goose is big and I see a road grader there. Still....this offense needs one big nasty attitude. The kind that guys like Zeus and Wally Williams brought. If it can get it from the O line then so much the better. Screw finesse.

Michael was one terrific guy.
-
Vinny was '96 and '97. Harbaugh was '98.

There is talent among the group of O lineman. Stanley, Lewis and Yanda are a decent 3/5's. The problem is developing a scheme that utilizes the talent of the collective group to the max. Some kind of coaching and player development miracle needs to happen. Here's the list. Find 2 gems; 60 Brandon Kublanow C 22 6-3 291 R Georgia 68 Matt Skura C 24 6-3 305 1 Duke 61 Jarell Broxton G 24 6-3 322 1 Baylor 66 Ryan Jensen G 25 6-4 310 4 Colorado State-Pueblo 72 Alex Lewis G 25 6-6 315 2 Nebraska 63 Jarrod Pughsley G 26 6-4 310 1 Akron 76 Maurquice Shakir G -- 6-3 315 R Middle Tennessee 56 Nico Siragusa G 23 6-5 330 R San Diego State 64 John Urschel G 25 6-3 300 4 Penn State 77 De'Ondre Wesley G 24 6-6 326 3 BYU 73 Marshal Yanda G 32 6-3 305 11 Iowa The more fullbacks and running backs they keep in to block, the less receivers they can send out to flood the field to create some mismatches. It's all about match ups in the passing game. On the bright side. Every team in the NFL has weak spots, depth issues and one or two or more weak units. Oh...and dumb coaches. This is why I think 8-8 is reasonable. I still think the Ravens can add 2 more wins to that total. To do that 2/3rd s of the following needs to manifest: They have to stay healthy. The defense has to take that next step up to being very solid. This is not an unreasonable expectation. But if all the offense does is 3 and outs or quick scoring drives this unit will get gassed. The O has to run. Tucker and Special teams have to be excellent like they have been. All that's missing is a lethal return man. Again, They have to be able to run the ball. At least continue to run throughout the game, even if the yardage is not good. They have to make defenses stay in to play it. Keep Joe upright and healthy. But this is the most important weakness they have to improve on: Game planning. This is all on the coaching staff. They must develop winning game plans and strategies for each opponent. That can get them the 1 or 2 extra needed wins.

I wouldn't give up the 3rd round comp pick.
