The Ravens have no money for him now and probably didn't have it from the beginning. Kap wants to start and he'll get that chance as the pre season grinds on, QB's go down and teams find out they don't have a valid starter.

I watch practice highlights that I find on the Ravens website every day and try to read every report from the local media. There are players stepping up and taking advantage of their opportunities. Lot of guys we know little about.

All these injuries also affect the Kaepernick signing. They need more depth and have little cash. They can't afford him.

Let get this right: It's all about making a profit off of patriotism.

As far as the number of players lost or out, this is the worst. For me, losing Jamal and Searcy in 2001 was worse. There's plenty of time left this pre season for things to get even worse on the injury front. It's sickening how bad the injury bug hits this team year after year. It definitely takes the wind out of your sails. We will find out how deep this team is real soon.
