  1. I'm with you. During the 2012 playoff run Joe had time to throw....so they won. and...no line then you end up with this....
  2. I can't argue with Mike on this....
  3. The Asa signing is a true sign of desperation. Well...the NFL got what they want! Parity. We get to watch it every week. How does it taste folks?
  4. Because it's watered down football. Few franchises can build a strong football team due to parity. Who wants to watch struggling mediocrity? It is obvious from the primetime matchups...they suck.
  5. So the big question here is: Will Fitzpatrick have a career game? Or will the Ravens make one of his back ups look like an All Pro? The Yets have the worst scoring offense in the NFL. Can you see it coming?
  6. Great post and thread. In general the Ravens have a good coaching staff top to bottom compared to the rest of the league. But collectively they are not good enough to get this roster and team into the upper echelon of the NFL. The record pace of penalties and mental errors tell the tale of a team that is lacking in discipline, focus and communication. This is a disjointed lot. That's on coaching. In game adjustments? Coaching. On Harbaugh: He is no Tom Coughlin or Bellicheat when it comes to developing a winning game plan for opponents. The top HC's know how develop to a winning formula and team identity. This team has none. Had none last year or the year before that. That's on Harbaugh.
  7. Oh Ye of Little Faith! The Ravens will send the Giants "out into the weeping and gnashing of teeth."
  8. He'll be a miracle worker with no O line....
  9. Message to Marty: Can you please trash that receiver screen bunch formation that loses 5 yards every time? And please...when it's 3rd and 7 or 10...NO 5 YARD ROUTES!!!!!!!!
  10. I know I'm about to get killed for saying this....Get Cavanaugh back. His offense might work with Joe. He loved to run the ball and throw long for big chunks. He just didn't have the receivers or QB.
  11. The change is made and the players sound energized by it. Now it's up to the players to do their part. No more excuses...no more "I don't know why we're not moving the ball. We have to look at the tape." No more "We have to get better" lines....or..."We're close. It's the little things that are killing us." Say that in Cleveland. Not here.
  12. One thing that I like about John is if you are not helping the team win then you're gone. In 13 out of 21 games under Trestman the Ravens failed to score 20 points. They get 1 field goal in 12 drives against a really bad defense. That's really bad in today's NFL. I'm not a big Marty fan. He's made some bonehead calls during his career.
  13. Harbaugh better be choking Trestman and Rosberg.
  14. Against a team that gives up 28 per game. I'm done with Trestman....and that weak O line. Special Teams sucks again. Verdict is in: This is an average or below average team. We're in for a long season.
  15. It's all rigged for an even playing field of mediocrity. Parity. Parity. Salary Cap. Free Agency. Years of drafting late due to success. Drafting and developing players so well that you can't afford to keep them when they hit free agency. Playing in the toughest division in football. Harder schedules...until this year. Justin was one great stand up man. Big heart. Honest. Hard worker. And....the Ravens kept him knowing they might have to part ways but were willing to guaranteei him $3 mill this year. That's $3 mil of "We love and appreciate you Justin!"
  16. Thanks for the update. It looked bad this morning for Joe. Keep battling back! Small world. I feel for his family and hope they rally together.
  17. This is so tragic and senseless. Let's send our love to Joe and his family as they try to make it through this very hard time. “Here’s a man and a family that have been longtime season ticket holders, that know the people here that work in the building, that love the Ravens and have been to countless numbers of games at M&T Bank Stadium without incident,” Harbaugh said. “Then all of a sudden, there’s an incident where a gentleman is assaulted by somebody. That’s just not what we’re about. We’re a family. It’s a family atmosphere.” Bauer remains hospitalized in critical condition with a severe brain injury that has his family reeling. “We’re clinging to hope,” said Susan Bauer, his sister. “He’s still not responsive and not awake, and we don’t know the extent of his brain damage. The doctors said it was consistent with a major stroke.” Details of the fight that sent Bauer to the hospital were unavailable on Sunday but emerged Monday, via the official police charging documents obtained by the Baltimore Sun. “Scott Smith, 30, of Mount Vernon, N.Y., and Andrew Nappi, 31, of Eastchester, N.Y., were each charged with first- and second-degree assault. … Both were released after posting bond: $50,000 for Smith and $25,000 for Nappi.” The details of the argument that started the fight are still unclear. But what is known is that Bauer was struck in the head by a bottle, punched in the face by Nappi and hit his head on the ground so hard he went unconscious. “We’re just left in shock that something this stupid could happen, and so senseless,” Susan Bauer said. “I don’t know who these people are. I don’t know why this happened. I just hope they realize they have altered all of our lives beyond anything that we could have imagined.” Our thoughts and prayers are with Bauer and his family during this difficult time..http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/john-harbaugh-addresses-attack-that-landed-fan-in-hospital/ar-BBwXLT1?li=BBnbfcL
  18. They are going nowhere without a running game. They finally got it going in the 4th quarter... If they continue to stick with the run the rest of the game, which had Oakland back peddling, they win. Special Teams needs to get their heads screwed on right. They MUST protect Joe. He will not last at this rate. Moving Forward! The Potomac Drainage Basin Indigenous Persons!!!
  19. He sounded real frustrated with Zutah. Threw him under the bus. To spare everyone the pain of watching, look at how well the offense shot itself in the foot. It goes on.
  20. Nice win today and season O's. Very happy for this group of O's players and coaches.
  21. wow...Preston calls this a good loss.
  22. Harbs brain farts lost this but the amount of team mental errors is mind boggling. The Ravens should have been up 14-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Raider D would have kept giving up big chunks of yards but the Ravens kept shooting themselves in the foot. The were Ravens open everywhere. Special Teams sucked too. Defense gave up 4 TD's through the air. The Ravens continued to break down all game. This was a classic finding ways to lose game.
  23. The Raiders are better than the Ravens today. It's a long, long list of things the Ravens did to find ways to lose. They worked overtime to lose this game.
