Joe should be working out with his receivers during this bye week on a high school field somewhere. instead he's out spending his money.

We would have been sick. I might have sold my PSL's. Why sit and suffer for years? We have seen enough of the Kyle Bollers of the NFL to know that until you have a really good QB you have no shot at a title. Joe always gives the Ravens that shot.

The Ravens have 11 players injured or out for the year. That is a lot of teams roster gone.That's either the most of any team or 2nd most. It's a huge dent in team depth. So I read this article and he's right. This was one very good draft... Mosley, Brooks, Jerrnigan, Gilmore, Talifarro, Urschel and Campanaro. Then the undrafted rookies Hurst, Jacobs and Orr. These guys are filling the gaps and helping to hold it all together. "Next man up"...Mr Opportunity has called and these guys are responding. It's a long season, it's a grind. Sure it would be great if Pita and everybody else were 100% healthy and playing and the Ravens had more wins and lopsided victories but that's not reality. Reality is that it's football on Sundays in Baltimore and we have a lot of good players to watch who are giving everything they have on the field.

Yea...but he'll push harder to reach the end zone on the longer runs. Remember when, early in Rice's career, he was always getting tackled before crossing the goal line? Forsett is really amazing to watch him stop, go, and hop in, out and between the tackles. You can't teach that.

Nice to see Kubiak stuck with it today even though it was going nowhere for most of the 1st half. 27 passes...34 rushes. The winning formula.

On his first TD he just wanted to make the play more than the DE who was in good position. He's a Raven!!! 5.6 ypc. It was good to see the Ravens run the ball in the red zone and get 2 rushing TD's. And...Pierce got his first 10 yard run of the year! 151 yards rushing for the day with 4.4 ypc. And...quietly, it is now 20 games since the Ravens D has allowed a 100 yard rusher.

We have to stop turning every thread into a Joe Flacco thread. Accept it...since Joe came into the league he has more playoff wins than any other QB. And I do not want to concede any season...or 2...in hopes that some current freshman or sophomore QB in college right now will fall into the Ravens lap and be excellent. This is Severe Wrongness. The Ravens can do damage with Joe at QB. The Ravens have never been able to do this. I do not want to wait to get lucky 15 years from now. Joe + Ravens = Wins and playoffs.

The Ravens defense could not get off the field in the 1st half. They couldn't get any pressure on the QB and the Titans were running the ball. but then they came together and played well. I feel good for the secondary and their effort. OK...the Titans are horrible.

At the stadium, with a good view of the whole field, Gorrer played solid. So did Anthony Levine....he had a very good start. Hill made a difference too. I think he'll be a play maker. They tried to stay away from him. Elam looked better. Webb still is not his old self but he was aggressive and he knows what's going on. The head knows where to go and the body is play catch up. He has about half a step to get back. Brooks is a mixed bag...he's still thinking too much.

I'm ready to go down and watch this new group in the secondary. Of course I'll support these guys...until they hurt my eyes and brain. I think they will be an improvement over Franks, Brown and Stewert. You never know.....

No...there's just the odds against them landing another QB who can lead them deep into the playoffs. Teams in the league draft QB's, that they like, in hope that this is the guy. Take a good hard look at the large amount of QB's who can't deliver. It's a big list. The Ravens could go 10- years without a play maker at QB. Many teams do. It's easy for you to say part ways with Joe because you are not a Ravens fan. The rest of us sat through the years of crappy QB play here while the rest of the team was very good. We saw it get pissed away. I'm not in for another 10 years of futility. Give me the sure thing. Joe's playoff record is very very good. He can help the team win playoff games. Tons of good QB's flop at this.

And we'd be sitting here hopeless and crying with somebody like Jake Locker, Geno Smith, Matt Cassell, or Blake Bortles at QB.
