By this logic, every receiver is a decoy. Here's a bust...

Last year doesn't mean squat. Marlon is a different guy this year. He dropped everything in pre season and continued up until now. These games matter.....if you can't catch then you can't play. Kubiak would love to have 3-5 open targets for Joe. He's not going to waste a guy to be a decoy. Besides, a decoy has to be somebody a team respects and fears. That is not the 2014 Brown. Now....Steve and Daniels could be decoys because they draw coverage and game planning.

Marlon is not a decoy. Joe would love it if he could get open and not drop the ball. Brown, Torrey and Jacoby don't get thrown to because the want to set a record for drops.Joe throws to Steve and Daniels because they catch the ball. It's not rocket science that needs diagrams, spread sheets and Dr Phil analysis.

Too bad a great defensive effort is being marred by a listless offensive performance. Maryland must have double didget drops. They just hit 100 yards of total offense 8 minutes into the 3rd quarter.

Maryland is sacking the shit out of Hackenabush. Forced a fumble. They are holding Penn to 1.1 yards per carry but they can't run it either. 7-6 at half. If CJ Brown had any kind of accuracy Maryland would be up by 2 TD's. They need a QB who can throw the ball.

We got a good game going in Slappy Valley. 7-3 Maryland is up. The Terps just intercepted and ran it in for a score but it was called back for a slight touch on the Ninny Lion QB.

It's a bandwagon following. If the team is crappy, the fans disappear. If they can't brag and gloat, then staying home is more appealing. "We've got Sunday Night Band practice. Sorry!"

I love his off season conditioning program! I'm being sarcastic. Actually, he's 3 plays away from being a hero the last 2 weeks. He dropped 2 sure interceptions and blew the coverage for Cincy's 53 yard 3rd and 10 play in the 4th quarter. Make those plays and we're saying Ozzies a genius. As horrid as the secondary is at the moment, I'll be pulling for them 8:30 Sunday night.

That's a good plan. Let's add not turning the ball over to it. Also...the less time the Steelers face 3rd and long the better.
