It was a great day watching lacrosse.Too bad it's not at M&T. I feel great for Loyola taking down the Irish. They have had a great season.and it was no small feat for Maryland to beat a very good Puke team although they made it look easy. I love the aggressive Maryland defense but their offense is really something to see. They are like a python slowly restricting it's victim. Little by little, as they move the ball around an invisible circle surrounding the opponents goal....that ring constricts...gets smaller and smaller...closer to the goal... as they pass the ball and work it in...then suddenly wham!...a short high percentage shot goes in the net. They were accurate as shit...55%! Loyola has to jump out to a lead...that may take Maryland out of their game. I'm picking Maryland but it would be nice to see that trophy in Baltimore...you're right...real hard to choose a team to root for. Come on crav...you don't like these jersey's?! I've got to get one.

It seems like only yesterday when Jamal pulled into training camp driving a monster truck Hummer with 57 tv's in it. What's the stat ???...most of these players are broke within 5 years of leaving the game? I feel bad for Jamal. He was a great running back and a joy to watch. 2003 was insane. I hope he can pull out of this and land on his feet.

I wonder what the Vegas odds are. This is great for us and good for baseball. It's been so long since I've seen winning baseball that now I finally remember how much enjoyment I used to have being an O's fan. It's comming back...little by little.

At the moment I love the hype. TJ and Evans killed us in the playoffs but Jones helped us...so maybe it's "a reverse thing" and the Ravens will be ok. Cam has to get the scheme to use him...not bury him.

He's losing the baby fat... and putting on more muscle. that means more power. The cardio means more endurance and reps. The Ravens need him to take another big step forward. Looks like he is....

I'd say the hangover from the AFC Championship is gone... Reading and hearing that loss crushed this team and they'll have a hard time recovering and getting it together this year is just bunk. It's bullshit to say their Super Bowl window is closing because of Ray and Ed Reed too. It might be closing for Ray and Ed, but not this team.

This is the kind of article that I like. It's just one mans observations, but since we can't see practices and camp, we need somebody to be our eyes and ears. The market is set. Those are the numbers the Ravens have to meet to sign Rice....$21 mil SB. Look aty it this way...he'll get 7.7 mil guaranteed this season with the tag. More than $7.7 next year if they tag him again....only they'll have a very unhappy player. That's around $18 mil over 2 years. Pay him a $21 mil SB and you have a happy RB. Cross your fingers and hope he's durable and productive for 4 years. If the Ravens Brass has any Super Bowl hopes then they have to sign Rice. The offense goes through him and he makes it go. Odds are he'll have a great year this season and then start that long backward production ride most RB's with his mileage take. They can be 'good'...'servicable'...but never great as before.
