    Week 11

Before he left I told my son "Don't be a Jerk!" Some things run in the family... Oh God...it's Bumble and Dierdork calling the game... Ray's out.

    Week 11

"I'm home today. I gave my tickets to my son and his girlfriend. And yes, I do have a double standard. If it would have been my daughter and her boyfriend he'd have to buy them from me....well...he probably couldn't go anyway because he'd be working 2 jobs because my daughter will drive him broke."

Let's take a peek at the Ravens 12th man morning workout before todays game...
  6. Remember the one they had on Ray Lewis running through a locked door?

    Ngata #1

This is a good article on Ngata who is USATodays #1 DT...
  8. Oh...I thought you were talking about the Bengals D. If it's the past winning records against the Ravens that is over...it's the past...just like the Steelers who got swept. These are different teams. I think it will be a close game because Dalton gets the ball out fast which negates the pass rush. If he's not successfull there...game over. The Ravens hot/cold offense could keep the Bengals in this game, give it to them or blow them out...just don't know week to week who will show up there. They are good at home. So is the D....and they are good against good teams.
  9. That's padded Billy...they haven't faced any decent offenses.
  10. Actually I feel comfortable today that the Ravens will win. I wasn't early in the week and I do respect what the Bengals have done and the team that they are developing into...but... The Ravens will bring it as hard or harder than the Steelers did last week. Against the better defenses, the most the Bengals have scored is 17 points. The Ravens D at home is Brick Wall #1.
  11. That's exactly how crav carries a six pack of beer.

  13. I was a big Vinny fan. OK...I've got my sane football hat on for a moment. Unless Joe totally looses it and collapses, I don't put Taylor in. Taylors the back up, on the bench, untill he shows in practice and in the pre season games that he's better than Joe. If I am not happy with Joe then I start looking for a QB. I won't find one better in Free Agency. To try there will probably lead to another decade of flops like the above named QB's. That leaves the draft as my only hope. Since the Ravens usually pick late then I start looking for the next Tom Brady. Joe stays the starter until I find one.
  14. "Let's get it back to the old days."
  15. Geez Spen...I'd think that after after Vinny, Harbaugh, Mitchell, Banks, Case, Dilfer, Redmond, Blake, Wright, Boller, Smith that you'd enjoy a little stability at QB. Even Below Average Joe is more fun to watch than most of those QB's. Seriously...I think Joe is having a hard time fitting in with whatever Cam is trying to create. He has new receivers to work with, his running game and play action pass is basicly gone, he has a new line trying to get it together but can't because they are road graders, not pass blockers...and yes...Joe has been inaccurate this year. Joe's not losing us the games. The whole team and coaching staff is out of sync this year. He's better than all the QB's I named. That's progress.
  16. He belongs in the Hall of Fame. Stover was Mr Clutch...Automatic Matt...consistent as hell...and he sholdered one hell of a load in 2000...one of my all time Raven favorites.
  17. Ray has lost a step already...now it will be 2 if he plays....plus the power and explosion that he looses to his game. This explains why he was getting pushed around Sunday. This is a huge loss if Ray doesn't play. He's the QB of the defense. It's like Flacco going down. Ed can call the plays but Ellerbe sure can't.
  18. It obvious there's no rythmn or identity to this offense. It's hot/cold, inconsistent and goes to sleep for quarters and halves of games. I have wondered if they were trying to develop a high scoring, fast scoring offense (run less/throw more) because they know they won't have Ray and Ed much longer and will need bunches of points should the D go into decline. If that's the case then they have failed so far because the offense is neither. Interesting that JO says Joe can't carry this offense on his back. It's like Ravens fans know what Harbs and Cam don't....because we saw it work for so many years: Stop the run and make the QB beat you with his arm. The Ravens did that and won. Well...now it's the Ravens coaches who have stopped the Ravens from running...just what every team wants...which is>>>>force Flacco to beat them with his arm. Our opponents are saying "Thank You!"

"Don't know why, but I'm starting to feel good about a Ravens win Sunday."
  20. Hey...the Yets have Broadway Schmoe as their QB. What do you expect?
  21. Here we go.... When they say toe, I think J.O. This could be it for him.
  22. He's stressed...just needs a couple wins to calm down. I like a HC full of piss and vinegar because that flows down hill.
  23. Shades of Lamont Brightfull! Stop the bleeding. The Ravens can ill afford to have poor special teams play. As we all know so well, it is an important part of winning. Penalties hurt field position. Turnovers totally destroy it.
  24. All my phones are droids...personal and business. Love my incredible.
