I love it. Anybody else into it? Even just to see the beautiful scenery? I love the final sprints and seeing the riders getting crushed by the mountains. Wild start with a major crash that put Contador 1 minute 20 sec behind... which gives Evans and Schleck a great shot at battling it out for the win. I swear it looks like the fix was in when that fan in the yellow shirt bumped into that rider and caused the crash. Only way to stop Contador. Todays second stage showed how strong the American teams are. They were on fire and flying like bats out of hell in the time trials.

This should end that bust talk about him. He's really damn good and valuable....and a good guy. Jones makes it too. Good news on a good day for the Orioles...Britton jacks a home run and the O's beat the Braves 5-4.

What are they??? 8 under now? I feel realy bad for them. No matter what they do, it doesn't work out. They're snake bit. Take Hardy for instance. He's doing good now so the O's will give him a good contract and then....he'll revert to the player he used to be. That's their luck.

That looks like the cold hard reality to me. They are headed for an apx 12 under .500 season at almost the halfway point. They are not on the upswing but in that same old "always something bad/frustrating happening"....the "can't quite get it together as a team". Now I'm going to watch them tonight and root for a win...hoping they hit the mid season point 3 under. That would be progress for me....progress is getting close to .500 for the season...12 under would be a huge disappointment.

I'm not countimg Bulger out. He doesn't want to be a starter...loves being the back up. He might go for less money...certainly not vet minimum. Joe hasn't been seriously hurt yet. If Joe goes down, then so does the season. Even a game or 2 is huge....for that reason the Ravens will work out a deal and pay Bulger enough to keep him here. He's critical, vital insurance for the whole team and franchise....they are playing to get to and win a Super Bowl. Ozzie will not be short sighted in this area.

I'm keeping Bulger, both McLains, Yanda, Wilson, Zibby, Nakamura and Chester.

Congrats Joe...I hope she's ungleeee....so you can be happy for the rest of your life. You got money, you got the woman...now can you please get the ring.

I agree with La Canfora...there's no Super Bowl window for the Ravens...it's stays open. Window or not, the Eagles haven't won it. I'd like to see the Ravens get there and win it. The sooner the better. It was great winning it in 2000 because I knew fans wait 10, 20, 30 years to witness their team winning one. Some never live to see it. At least we got that monkey off our back....but I feel pressure for another because this team has so much talent.

We saw it comming. This really sucks. I love going to those camps. You learn a lot about the players...start seeing needs getting filled...meeting your Ravens friends...hooking out on work...

So they were doing what all the fans said they were....going to sleep...going thrrough the motions of playing but not playing hard passionate football. Paycheck stealing. And Cam let them. Argree with you OTR. Especially in the playoffs where Joe has had only 1 good game.

I'm happy with this season too...about what I expected...and I'm not after MacPhails head. Here's where I'm going with this... MacPhail's been here 4 years. Name the solid core of players the O's have to build around? They don't have an infield for starters. No 1st baseman of the future, 2nd base, shortstop, 3rd base... You got Weiters, Jones and Britton....and some other pitchers who could step up. I can hang with the down year for Markakas...he'll rebound. I think Roberts is done...can't stay healthy...and they gave him good money. Might end up a bad signing. When healthy he's great. But in 4 years that's all they got. He's got to do better at bringing in talent.

MacPhail has to do better. His drafting results are so-so. His veteren signings are ...basicly no impact or improvement. The players he's inking to long term deals and extensions...yawn. You can't turn around a team with 13 losing years with mediocre choices and results. You have to hit big in all the above catagories. He hasn't.

I think Joe's going to put 'a hurting' on the haters this year. He's been getting bashed a lot nationally. This latest from Dhani Jones.... I like the talk...this will put extra fire in Joe. I think he's reaching a point where he's going to get that killer instinct. Joe 'Safe Conservative' Flacco to Joe 'You Know What? I'm gonna Hurt You' Flacco. Joe wants that Super Bowl ring.
