I haven't heard anyone looking at Torrey as a #1.... he's a prototypical 2 or 3. But a 1 is a superstar who can go up and take the ball out of the air... Torrey is a burner. Hope he's great. But he can't be the 1 guy you have.

We had two rookies as part of our starting rotation last year, and the other guy is an aging veteran. And none of them is taller than 6'2. It's definitely a need... unless you're willing to say that LaQuan Williams, Lee Evans, and Tandon Doss are the superstar #1's that we're looking for when Boldin hangs it up.

If we're going to blame anyone, it should be Lebron. 80% of the advantage Cundiff gave us was taken away last offseason when they moved the kickoff line. Now we have a kicker who can't hit a 50 yard field goal AND will always have it in the back of his head that he shanked one in a critical moment. I don't see what the point is of trying to keep a guy like that, when so many games come down to a single field goal, and half-decent kickers aren't really that hard to find. Unless it's a financial thing, you've gotta bring in someone else.
