  1. I don't feel good about Champ. But that's me. I could be very wrong. No I didn't know graham really. I had seen him play a little in Chicago when they had a bunch of injuries one yr but I can't say I thought he was starter material. There could be another guy out there like that or we draft a guy. I can't remember the school or name but there was a small school guy I heard about on Sirius a couple weeks ago. I'll have to see if I can find that name. Mid round material. 6 footer with 4.5 speed. I'm sure there's some type of plan. I think Brown may be better than we've seen. Just a feeling. No proof on that. And we still need another guy to make them all compete
  2. Right. KO is a big deal. We can't make it with Shipley starting. There is a draft coming up and I suspect we will get some impact players. We may draft Ebron, Clinton Dix, one of those nice WRs coming out. We will get something. Won't be 8-8 next yr. I think better, could be worse but not 8-8
  3. Hmmmm. Never really thought about that. That would leave Edelman and I'm not sold on him. And that would worry me because it says NE doesn't really value him. They'd rather have Smith at 34 for 2-3 yrs than a younger guy that came up in their system. What's that say? Nothing good
  4. Lol!!! Sadly, many times. Still love my Os tho
  5. Something to prove. That's going to be big with Smith. He'll be extra chippy. If this goes off, I think it's a really good short term solution
  6. I love Jacoby. I'm glad he's still on the team. He's not an HOFer or anything but he's a colorful guy that can play and you need that too
  7. I don't think Asomugha = Revis but he was rightly the next guy behind Revis. But philly tried to ask him to do things that weren't his forte. Denver has paid big money. 3 big name, big money signings. What other teams have changed as much and they may not be done. Reports are that they want D. Smith too. That's 3 big personalities and egos that you have to fit into a locker room. It may not gel. The guys that are already there might even feel like they don't need these 'saviors' to win. But we will see
  8. I agree about Asomugha. Philly messed him up and didn't let him play to his strengths. He didn't recover. Denver is going to have trouble getting everyone on the same page
  9. Revis is about revis and his money. He wants big money everywhere he goes so it's hard to have really good personnel at the other CB spots when one guy is eating 16 mil (TB) or 12 mil (NE) on your cap.
  10. Oher just needs to clean up the penalties. He gets beat some. But that's partially why he's a RT and not. I'm cool with resigning him for the right number. C is where we could use solidification
  11. We were 8-8. There's a lot of reasons for that. A huge one is OL and another is no Boldin or Pitta. Well we can't get Boldin. Maybe Smith is a partial solution. If KO is back the Oline improves. We have to see about the C position. I think there's a chance nothing changes there. Sucks I know. Right now, barring injury, we will be a little better but the Oline is still a work in progress.
  12. As everyone is noticing, free agency big spending doesn't usually work. The Redskins do it all of the time and haven't won doing it. It's best to develop your own guys, pay them and grab an FA here and there to patch a hole. Denver is all in and who can blame them but history is against them. Will that team gel this yr?
  13. I think he meant that Saturday, Harrison, and Holmes were the exceptions to the rule about Bmore FA defections. Bart was good in NY but not near what he was in Bmore. He wasn't a failure. But Free Agency doesn't bring SBs. Ravens fans might say they keep us from SBs....see Lee Evans.
  14. That's the history with us. And I think he may have some growing pains if they don't have the same rotation as us to keep him fresh but I actually think Jones is going to pan out there. We let him walk because of the young guys behind him. He's not going to be like the others.
  15. I don't think Jacoby wanted to leave Bmore. I seriously think that as long as the deal was near what he thought he could get that he didn't mind taking a little bit less to stay. Mccluster isn't better than Jacoby at all in my eyes but he got the same money for less yrs
  16. But you can't take them away school. It already happened and who is to say that he could do it again? Who is to say brown or Jackson won't break out enough this yr to be just as good as Graham? We won't know until we know. Time to find out because I don't see a vet to pick up. Cro thinks he's a starter and so do I. = starter money. Bailey is done.
  17. We don't make splash signings and I'm glad we don't. We will get value and I like that . Golden Tate goes to Detroit. I thought there might be an outside chance for us
  18. yeah! I think this kid can develop and he's athletic
  19. I agree. He was better and if he hadn't been run into during the first game if the yr, it would have been an even better yr. I'd like us to keep him. We can still add to the receiving corps. I think JJ caught some nice intermediate balls and the guy is just a big play waiting to happen. With a good Oline and safeties 2 deep, the run game should flourish.
  20. Can't keep them all but I enjoyed watching this guy grow. Too bad we can't keep him
  21. I won't say I'm 100% with you on this but I'm leaning that way. I'm not sold on Edelman. Smith is old. He's a short term answer. He Will be motivated. He's a small Boldin at this point but maybe he's worth a shot if we are going to go for it in the draft also with a WR.
  22. Same deal RavenMad, we were just talking and passionately stating our opinions. We got what we all wanted. I respect your position at the time but we are really on the same side. Things have started off well.
