cravnravn Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 We could have really closed the gap on the wild card and the division vs Boston..This is more reason to go full speed at David Price the minute the season is over. Quote
varaven45 Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Os fading fast. Must be time for Ravens football . Quote
cravnravn Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Os fading fast. Must be time for Ravens football . What sucks is, so are the Rays fading fast Quote
cravnravn Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 2 out of the wild card, Tampa is fading fast Quote
varaven45 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Yep. Gotta play .650 ball from here on out (if we are to make playoffs). Quote
thundercleetz Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 We are still very much in this. We got a big win yesterday and are only two back from the Rays for the final Wild Card spot. The Rays are ice cold. We have been getting solid pitching from Tillman, Feldman, and Bud. Hopefully Michael Morse provides us a nice boost this final month. I am not giving up yet! Quote
vmax Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I think they just blew any shot at the playoffs. Quote
varaven45 Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Agreed. This years team is lacking the substance and it factor from last year. Don't get me wrong it's a good team and just needs a few pieces to be a stronger competitor in the AL. A David Price type would be a good start ! Quote
cravnravn Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I think they just blew any shot at the playoffs. No way, we are 3 back of the wild card, never give up Quote
vmax Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 You can thank me for putting up a reverse curse. 1 Quote
varaven45 Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 You mean curse on the Os 1-16 or 2-16 w RISP? The Os have such a penchant this year for squandering run scoring opps . It's killing em . Quote

cravnravn Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 O's beat the Spankmees Redskids lose to Philly Productive monday night 1 1/2 back of the wildcard Quote
varaven45 Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Golden opportunity to slice deficit to 1/2 game.Damn Yankees ! Quote
varaven45 Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 No clutch hitting again tonight. . If the Os were a football team, they must be averaging 500 yards of offense and a couple of field goals per game. It's the story of this season and oh Matt Wieters needs to go back to hitting school with his .230 batting average. For all the good he provides as a catcher and handling the pitchers, he is awful as a hitter. Quote
varaven45 Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Agreed. We needed to have won at least three out of four from the Stankies. Quote
Spen Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 man had this team been frustrating at times this season. I picked a bad season to quit sniffing glue 1 1 Quote
