vmax
I call this move "Hustling Backwards". Then again, it could be a shrewd move by Ozzie to bolster the secondary's confidence.

varaven45
Mr. Haney . Wasn't he In the circa 1960s sitcom "Green Acres " ?
vmax
We know that if Joe goes down so does the season. The Ravens don't have a back up QB who can help win 1 game for them. This is a serious weak point. They can't go into this season with that liability. It makes no sense. cravnravn
You have no confidence in Taylor? for 1 game I do, lets not forget Bungles beat us the last game with all our scrubbies in there, Taylor with our first teamers will do just fine. varaven45
Nor in Mr Haney ?
oldno82
I disagree Crav. We need a more capable backup than Taylor. I would hope to be able to find either a former first-stringer now on the downside of his career or a predictable backup. The offense will have to carry the load this year more than in years past and if Joe goes down we're really done for. I think back to the years when we had no backup for Bert Jones. We went from a perennial playoff team to a sad sack outfit overnight after he got hurt.
papasmurfbell
Could it be that they just need a #3 for camp purposes?
