cravnravn Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 festivities in Baltimore, leading up to kickoff? My Son and Daughter are disappointed, because they want to be down town for the festivities, but they end 15 minutes before kickoff. So thats not enough time to get to their homes. Is that the feelings around Baltimore? Quote
varaven45 Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I still think it stinks that this game is not in Baltimore. What a blown opportunity! Quote
Tornado700 Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Crave- I was thinking about that. It almost seems that if you go to that free concert, you're not really a Raven fan, right? So, I wouldn't be surprized if the downtown bar and lounge associations paid for this Keith Urban enertainment, knowing that cocert goers have no choice but to come to then to watch this game. It's always about the almighty buck. vmax Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Festivities? Everybody I talked to thinks it's a joke or worse The feeling at work was just like last year....hell, it's like Purple Friday everywhere.Everybody's wearing purple and is excited. I've got to give a shout out to all the women. They are smack talking better than the men. I think it's great. Coming to Denver tonight.... Quote
cravnravn Posted September 6, 2013 Author Posted September 6, 2013 Holy batman the harbor is packed Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 My feelings are that Peter screwed the Ravens and Bmore. Quote
Tornado700 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 It's 8:53 and the game is delayed due to weather.Another conspiracy against the mighty Ravens?Say it ain't so, JOE. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Was the weather good in Bmore last night? Quote
deeshopper Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Was the weather good in Bmore last night? It was magnificant. Quote
varaven45 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Ditto on PA screwing the Ravens. Its still inexplicable to me how they couldn't have worked out what could have been a win-win for B-more.Instead, we got screwed and embarrassed on national TV. Even my beloved Steeler fans are sympathetic and said we were royally screwed. Quote
ForceEight Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I am so tired of reading about how Angelos has anything whatsoever to do with the Ravens playing in Denver last night. Quote

He went against the majority of owners and ended the strike but this could not be done. Attendance was down about 10000 last night at CY. He plays in the afternoon and there are 40000 there. Cutting your nose off to spite your face is so smart. Quote
