cravnravn
The only pic I see is of a peir. Looking at Dee's pic it looks like the sinkhole likelihood is mix and matched everywhere. And If I am an insurance company I am saying the whole place is prone and I am billing as such. So Md should recieve higher rates because they are in an earthquake zone? because through Columbia there is a fault line? And we are billed higher because of hurricanes, not sink holes, and if a franchise company as Joes Crab Shack can build a place of business 50 ft into the Atlantic Ocean, then whats that tell you about hurricane fear.. Heck, the mid atlantic suffers more costly damage from Nor'easters then Central Fl suffers from east coast hurricanes..Remember when Noreasters hit the mid atlantic spends billions on replenishing the beaches, when a hurricane heads up the coast, yes our beaches get washed away, but in weeks they are naturally replenished. deeshopper
How much is Joe's Crab Shack paying for insurance? Until you know that, it's a little pointless to keep bringing them up as the only example. For all you know, they could be paying $10K a month for insurance.
