In addition to the Ravens calling around, the 49ers, Patriots, Lions, and Colts are also in the market. Quote
RavenMad Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 We don't need a WR. We need a TE that can get open and catch and some O-Linemen that can block. Why waste picks on a WR? 1 Quote
thundercleetz Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Nicks would be an awesome fit but he would require a new contract immediately. Torrey needs to be taken care of first. Kenny Britt could be interesting. He played with Ray Rice at Rutgers. Maybe Rice could get Britt remotivated to get back to a near Pro Bowl level. Britt's value has to be dirt cheap. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Britt is injury prone. I don't get all this WR talk...but I guess it's a rare occurrence to trade for linemen. Our WRs are really coming together. Quote

tgann68 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 They are missing a run game. If our O-line could block for Ray Rice and B.Pierce the defenses would have to come up to the line and it would open up our passing game. We have talent at wr more speed then last year and with the addition of Marlon Brown a real threat in the red zone that is tall. Problem is NOBODY is taking our run game seriously bc they don't have too. Our schemes aren't working and as a result our offense is sputtering. Quote

varaven45 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Based on today's no action ( re trade deadline ), ithe only WR s we are checking out are our own cats ! Quote
Oldschool739 Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 That"s what the report said....Maybe they tried but couldn't get a deal done.Harbs refused to comment earlier, so that is a likely scenario .I like our guys too but you always have to look for upgrade players in the NFL.It's about winning now, and some other options would be nice if these guys aren't cutting it or get hurt again..
