Ravens Looking For WR Trade ‘Big Time’

With the AFC North still in reach, Baltimore may be trying to add a spark to its 14th-ranked passing game.

The Ravens are “deep in the process” of trying to land a pass catcher with Tuesday’s 4 p.m. trade deadline rapidly approaching, according to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora.

The good news for the Ravens is there is an “abundance” of receivers available, but there are also plenty of teams who are interested. In addition to the Ravens calling around, the 49ers, Patriots, Lions, and Colts are also in the market.

Nicks would be an awesome fit but he would require a new contract immediately. Torrey needs to be taken care of first. Kenny Britt could be interesting. He played with Ray Rice at Rutgers. Maybe Rice could get Britt remotivated to get back to a near Pro Bowl level. Britt's value has to be dirt cheap.

I think you are right TC, and so do the experts....It fits Ozzie's profile of extreme talent on the cheap and tweaking them if nothing else but a stop gap player.....I like our talent now but they are missing something, I just don't know what.....

They are missing a run game. If our O-line could block for Ray Rice and B.Pierce the defenses would have to come up to the line and it would open up our passing game. We have talent at wr more speed then last year and with the addition of Marlon Brown a real threat in the red zone that is tall. Problem is NOBODY is taking our run game seriously bc they don't have too. Our schemes aren't working and as a result our offense is sputtering.

That"s what the report said....Maybe they tried but couldn't get a deal done.

Harbs refused to comment earlier, so that is a likely scenario .

I like our guys too but you always have to look for upgrade players in the NFL.

It's about winning now, and some other options would be nice if these guys aren't cutting it or get hurt again..
