Tornado700 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 I hope this is not season ending. Somebody give me some good news. As to the game, Ravens NEVER gave up. That's how you win in this league. Quote

vmax Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Possible hip fracture...I'd say he's done for the year...hopefully not for his career. Jeff Zrebiec, reporter: This one came at a huge cost. Dennis Pitta may be done for the season with a hip injury. Terrell Suggs (groin) and Chris Canty (knee) both left the game early. Left tackle Eugene Monroe and cornerback Jimmy Smith both hobbled out of the locker room. It's fair to question what the Ravens will be able to get from cornerback Lardarius Webb after watching him play today. But the Ravens will worry about those things in the days ahead. On Sunday, they celebrated a victory they badly needed.Read more: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-ravens-browns-week-3-2014-instant-analysis-20140921,0,5864921.story#ixzz3DzM61QyQ Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 2 hip fractures? That doesn't sound good. I don't see how he comes back. Quote
thundercleetz Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 A normal 29-year old man doesn't fall to the ground untouched like that and fractures his hip. You'd have to hit me with some super science to get me to believe this injury was not related to last year's injury. This has to be career threatening. Good thing Pitta signed the contract before this season. Quote
ravinmaniac52 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Not that it matters but did he seem to do something on his first catch? Quote

papasmurfbell Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Jason Cole @JasonPhilCole 3mIf #Ravens TE Dennis Pitta has another fractured hip and not just dislocated, his career is probably over. Quote
oldno82 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Sad, very sad. Not only was he a great receiver but a hell of a nice guy to boot. There aren't a whole lot of guys in the league like him. Now we need another TE. Is Furstenburg available? I always thought he deserved a chance. Quote
