Marvin has underachieved with a lot of talented teams and players going back to Carson Palmer era.

I agree he has never gotten over the hump. I just look at the yrs preceding him where those coaches were winning below 35% of the time. Marvin has a winning record. I don't have faith that Mike Brown could hire anyone better than Marvin. I think Cincy would go back to the botom of the league in 3 yrs.

My logic is Brown isn't even close to the owner Biscotti is. Brown is a complete idiot who just tripped onto a competent coach who through force of will pushed the whole franchise in the correct direction. The Ravens have a culture of winning. Wholesale changes are not needed to be an elite team. While I question Biscotti keeping guys I see as lacking Harbs and Billick are not in the realm of Coslet, Shula, or LeBeau. None of them are remotely qualified to be HC's.
