This was going to be "Their Year."and they are by far not out of it.One win for the Bengals this coming Sunday changes everything... "We still can be on top of our division if we beat Baltimore. That's the biggest goal in mind right now, beside playing the way we had been playing." Dunlop said.If the Ravens lose next week, they'll fall to 2-2 in the division, while the Bengals would be 2-0. Meanwhile, the Ravens are feeling really good about themselves. They should. They keep building and getting better each week.They made held the #5 scoring offense 156 yards and about 20 points below their average. They mauled the Panthers. But everybody is beating those 2 teams and their O lines sucked. It was easy pickings. However crappy the Bengals have been playing and choking....they have playmakers and the confidence that they have the Ravens number. They still have that swag.And they beat the Ravens at M&T...and made the Ravens look inept and disjointed while doing it. A Bengal win and this season could spiral in different directions for each team. On the flip side, Sunday is a big win for the Ravens. They took care of business and like Harbaugh says, they are getting better, brick by brick each week. I think we all see that. This team is beginning to show the potential to be really good. Yes they are.My worry is not them stopping the Ravens offense, but the Ravens offense stopping themselves.They will not get away with all the penalties and 2 interceptions at Paul Brown stadium. There seem to be big problems on defense, too.There is no pass rush to really speak of and, outside of Carlos Dunlap, few people in the front seven seem capable of making something happen. Geno Atkins is not collapsing things from the inside and seems to be still laboring and not entirely over his season-ending injury from last year. They are simply not the same defense without Vontaze Burfict on the field -- and he has been off it quite a bit after a series of concussions (mild or otherwise -- ahem, Marvin Lewis) and what the team termed a neck injury that knocked him out of Sunday's game. The Bengals were playing without Emmanuel Lamur and Rey Maualuga already Sunday, and the next-man-up theory is being put to the test.Then top cornerback Leon Hall left with a back injury, and things really opened up for the Colts...........They allowed over 500 yards of offense without Andrew Luck seeming to break a sweat. If this offense does not acquire a killer instinct and quickly bury opponents, Ravens defense may eventually break in it's bend but not break philosopy. This will be particularly important against a team like Cincy that may possess one of the better Olines in the league. Ravens O will have to win this game.
