vmax Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 If I am playing DB. How many db's can a team go through in a single season? The Baltimore Ravens have set a new record.By my count, by Sunday, they will have used 12,........... if you count safeties. Quote
Robjr83 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Offense scares me too. There D will be very familiar with Kubs offence. Quote
oldno82 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I've been around a long time and I've never seen a team's secondary as decimated as ours is. And new guys I've never heard of keep rotating in as the previous ones go down. When you think about it, it's pretty amazing the defense has held up as well as it has. The DL and LB's are doing just a great job. Quote
varaven45 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 It's utterly astounding we have won 9 games - which is the max win total I predicted this year. If we don't win a single more game this season, given the secondary losses, and the Rice debacle, it's been a helluva job by Harbaugh and the man deserves a lot of praise. Quote
ForceEight Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 The Lions went through something like 17 or 18 DBs in 2003. We have a long way to go and our lack of depth in the first place is the reason why the situation looks so bleak. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 16, 2014 Author Posted December 16, 2014 Detroit was 5-11 that yr. Quote
Tornado700 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Offense scares me too. There D will be very familiar with Kubs offence. And Kubiak will be very familiar with their defense. Works both ways. Quote
RavensFanMania Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Offense scares me too. There D will be very familiar with Kubs offence. With different chess pieces Quote
RavensFanMania Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 And Kubiak will be very familiar with their defense. Works both ways.Different dc but he does know the players Quote
vmax Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Keenum lost at least 7 games last year and the Texans didn't want him back. He's still a big fan favorite because of how great he played at Houston. Can't let him get hot...that would really charge up the crowd. Quote
varaven45 Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Max, Good points ! I scanned a few Tex message boards and they are pretty stoked about Keenum - he's definitely a fan fav. I would like to see the D blitz the crap out of this guy right from the get go and take him and the crowd out of the game.We don't want to let the Texans hang around or it will be a long, close game.
