Really can't tell until the season starts, but my preliminary would be A-.

I think we hit home runs on the first five picks (Perriman, Williams, Davis, Smith, and Allen). I am a little weary of the three FCS guys we drafted. I love the Waller pick. Overall I'd say a A- . Personally, this is one of my favorite draft days to watch/talk about given we filled needs and finally drafted a potential #1 receiver in the first round with elite physical tools.

Kudos to Ozzie on an excellent draft. Would have liked a higher rated RB and CB, but you can't have it all. All in all, excellent draft !!!

This was a very rare draft where need and BPA came together on their draft board.

I'll say A- subject to change if Perriman doesn't have the drops.

Maxx and Davis were steals where we got them. Ozzie added

a lot of depth. One of the best drafts in the draft.

I'd say an A for Maxx Williams alone. I'm a little skeptical on Perriman till I see his hands in the preseason.

Baltimore Ravens: A+

 

After allowing Torrey Smith to depart in free agency, the Ravens spent a first-round pick on a wide receiver for the first time since Mark Clayton in 2005. QB Joe Flacco will have trouble overthrowing stretch-the-field threat Breshad Perriman, who ran a sub-4.3 in the 40-yard dash at his pro day. The Ravens traded up to get the best TE in the draft in Minnesota’s Maxx Williams. DT Carl Davis has Haloti Ngata-like size and will develop well under defensive coordinator Dean Pees. Kentucky’s Za’Darius Smith can fill the departed Pernell McPhee’s role. USC’s Buck Allen is a seamless fit in the zone-blocking scheme. With Kelechi Osemele desiring to be one of the highest-paid guards in the league, Baltimore gains some leverage by drafting Tennessee State’s Robert Myers, who has a ton of upside.

Tall, long and broad-shouldered with solid build on his frame, looking the part of a NFL defensive end.

Initial burst out of his stance to win the edge and surprise blockers with quickness

. Core power and length to set the edge with heavy hands and upper body strength to shock blockers at the point of attack. Aggressive swat/swim moves with active hands to work off blockers and keep himself free. Improved eye use to locate and track quickly, rarely losing sight of the ball. Stays assignment sound and rarely take himself out of plays. Physical striker and reliable tackler, using his length to wrap and finish. Only average speed, but terrific effort each snap and fights through the whistle. Fiery competitor and plays with a passionate demeanor, always fired up.

Versatile experience as an edge rusher at both left and right end, also lining up inside as a 3-tech tackle.

Football bloodlines with an older brother (OL Bob Meeks) and cousin (DT Davern Williams) who played in the NFL. Toughed out an ankle injury late in the 2014 season, missing three quarters against Georgia, but returned following week. Always smiling and carry himself with a positive attitude and the coaches talk highly about his growth, both physically and mentally.
