Pissburgh just did it - they tanked it. Didn't even show up, same as Ravens in Miami in 07 and that got

How can you say Pitt tanked Sundays game, when Sunday at 1 pm they were sitting in the 5th seed of the playoffs. Pitt made a bad halftime adjustment, first half they rushed 11 times for 99 yards, 2nd half they went away from the run all together. I don't think they tanked, our adjustments were just better then theirs.

Well the season sucked big time. Now we're looking at the draft and you guys are talking about players I like. Who should we shoot for in free agency and will they be able to renegotiate Joe's contract? And if KO is gone, who's going to protect Joe's blindside?

Radio said Ravens lost 14 games by 1 play in the final minutes of each game. They just

couldn't close them out. Guy said even with all the injuries they weren't the reason for

They beat Bears in Chicago but half their team was injured. A guy named Ball held Unitas

by his arms while their DE Atkins came by and said just hold him there and I'll whack him and

he did. It looked like a tag team wrestling match.

 

Lenny Moore said Unitas should have died but still played. They stuck mud in his nostrils to

stop the bleeding. He had a concussion and blood down his face.

 

Then from his own 35 he throws a bomb to Lenny Moore who jumped over two DBs and caught

the ball in the end zone for the game winning TD. Halas called it the greatest play he ever saw.

He didn't even tell the refs that Moore should have been penalized for running out of bounds and

then back on the field in front of their bench because the play was so good for football he let it

stand.

 

But that was the game Halas had a $500 bounty to knock Unitas out to break his record of most

consecutive TDs. Ball and Atkins tried to collect the reward money but failed.

 

We only had to win one last game but they beat up the Colts so bad they lost all 4 games.
