tsylvester Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 As fans, we were over due for this type of game. Enjoy....no complaints from me. Quote

vmax Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Really fun game and this was long overdue. Ravens did better on 3rd down this week. The team stats are almost identical so it shows how important turnovers are. Tucker > PraterMeaningful games in December. Fans dream. I don't know. Here We Go! varaven45 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Oh, today's offense was better than watching paint dry Quote
tsylvester Posted December 4, 2017 Author Posted December 4, 2017 Should there be any concern for now the 3rd no, 4th achilles tear? They claimed it was the fake field, but now I wonder, training, training staff? Eh, a win is a win. The defense was picked a part, 19 straight completions, some 90% for the game. But what ever Suggs said at the end of the 3rd quarter lit a fire in the bellies of the defensive line & blitzers, major pressure on the qbs... Canaday even ran over a runningback to get to Stafford.... Quote
Spen Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Went to the game today, really good decision. One of the better times I've had in years? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 They should be happy for the home cooking they got. It could have been a really different outcome. Quote
krf82 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Both ways, Papa. Refs should be forced to draw straws as to what game they're assigned. Refs are as bad as the talent on the field. Inconsistent....certainly not an easy job. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 They are horrible. A lot of missed calls all over the league yesterday. Quote
varaven45 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Did we lose yesterday ? Didn't think so. Just checking Quote
tsylvester Posted December 4, 2017 Author Posted December 4, 2017 They are horrible. A lot of missed calls all over the league yesterday.Part of the league's way of speeding up games; less penalties. It used to be only call obvious, play affecting penalties, but the past five years or so, they have called any of them they say, even the holding away from the play. Quote
vmax Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 WINNER: RAVENS SOLIDIFY PLAYOFF POSITION WITH HUGE WINUnless the Pittsburgh Steelers take a nosedive at the end of the season, it’s likely the only way the Baltimore Ravens are getting into the playoffs is via the wild card. On Sunday at home against the Detroit Lions, they took a big step toward realizing that goal in a 44-20 blowout nobody saw coming.Joe Flacco played his best game all season long. He completed 23-of-36 passes for 269 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Mike Wallace exploded for 116 yards on just five catches. Alex Collins rushed for 75 yards and two scores. Eric Weddle picked off Matthew Stafford and went to the house for six. Baltimore’s league-leading turnover producing defense tacked on a total of three more to its resume this season. It was a complete team win that moved the Ravens two games above .500 for the first time since they won their first two games this year. Now, with just four games left to play, Baltimore is in control of its own destiny for a playoff spot. And you can’t ask for much more than that.......https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/biggest-winners-and-losers-from-nfl-week-13/ss-BBGaRVa?li=BBnba9I#image=6 Quote
