tsylvester Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Pass, he can't block, is only really good in wide open offenses, like the Saints run, not like the Ravens run, thus why he did not work out in Seattle. Quote
oldno82 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Just what we need...another receiver on the cusp of the downside of his career. Quote
varaven45 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 We and 31 other teams “may” be in on him. Don’t see him in Bmore. Like most on here, would rather go young. Quote
JPPT1974 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Need one TE who can block and the other who can catch. Or one that can do a little bit of both. Quote
vmax Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 He is headed to the Packers, great fit. And we can get Jordy Nelson as our great free agent splash! Quote
tsylvester Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Yeah, great receiver on the down side of his career, Just what the Ravens need Nelson, who was scheduled to make $9.25 million in base salary and count $12.5 million against the cap, turns 33 in May. He made only 53 catches for 482 yards and six touchdowns last season when Rodgers missed nine-plus games with a broken collarbone.I think its only natural as players get older, you see some physical decline, Gutekunst said when asked whether he had seen decline after Nelsons knee injury in 2015. But I think Jordy is a very good player. Hell contribute for somebody next year. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/03/13/packers-g-m-talked-to-aaron-rodgers-after-decision-made-to-release-jordy-nelson/ Quote
vmax Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 LOL! Ravens and Seahawks Most Aggressive Teams in Pursuit of Jordy Nelson....The Ravens have made incremental additions to their receiving corps just far, but a big splash like Nelson could have a profound impact on Joe Flacco's success.Jordan Hoffman@MattyBoh10In order for the Ravens to sign Jordy Nelson, someone has to tell Ozzie Newsome that Jordy’s an average defensive linemen.4:50 PM - Mar 13, 2018...https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-ravens-and-seahawks-most-aggressive-teams-in-pursuit-of-jordy-nelson/ar-BBKbsgF?li=BBnb7Kz Quote
