Mayfield shined in Sunday's practice, with McManamon noting the rookie has "shown he has picked up the offense quickly, and he has an understanding of the system," while adding Mayfield "has a strong arm, he's been accurate and he gets rid of the ball quickly."

I think they are coming and fast.

This is coming from a coach who is 1-31.

He's hoping to God that Mayfield will save him.

 

I like Mayfield. He could be good.

 

Nevertheless it's one week into camp.

They need to win a regular season game first. They won all of their preseason games last year and then, lost when it counted.

 

The Browns roster has improved yet they have a long way to go.

Mayfield is gonna be a great qb, he has the right coaching, (no, not the head coach) and a quality pro wide out to help him along. It will take a year maybe two, but he will be good.

Good question, I don't think he would be a good fit for a rookie qb, he seemed to hold a certain rookie back when he was in Dallas if the "coach" is to be believed.

Taylor is the starter for week 1. But who knows if Mayfield will shine out?!

When Hue got there that roster was a disaster. It is much better now. He might not survive to get the benefits but things are gtetting better there.

That is a pretty impressive set office. I would love tio see him go against the 1s.
