Maybe Joe Flacco just doesn’t want to see Lamar Jackson win.

In the first quarter of the Ravens’ game against their rival Pittsburgh Steelers, Joe Flacco had a chance to hit Lamar Jackson for a wide open touchdown pass, but he didn’t.

He just didnt bother going thru his progressions. Whenever Joe gets a taste of pressure early in a game he gets easily rattled. He saw the first read was covered and threw it away anticipating pressure that wasnt there.

Flacco confirmed that he did not see Jackson open.

“If you remember, we were kind of rushing around there,” Flacco said. “It didn’t get off perfect, and he’s the last guy out of probably five [options] out there anyways.

“It’s one of those where maybe you wish you had extended the play and ended up seeing it late.”

It goes to Joe not being a team player. He is a me guy. He is in this for him and his paycheck.

You are right on all this points. Look at that contract Joe has and imagine the money being spread aroudn the team.

 

I don't believe the words coming out of Joe's mouth for asecond.

Hes a lazy good quarterback who caught lightning in a bottle in 2013 when all the planets aligned. When hes got a great OL, super complement of receivers and a strong running game hes a pretty dang good quarterback .

Like papa said...he doesn't raise anyone's level, he's only raised by others...

He sould only be making like 10-12 mil per. That is a salary that would be reasonable for his ability.

Yup...that's what I've learned. Give him a good Oline, receivers, and a running game and he'll pick apart a defense. When those things are missing we get what we have now.
