"This is a perfectly reasonable move for the Ravens. They have the reigning MVP in Lamar Jackson on a rookie contract and should be doing everything possible to build a Super Bowl-caliber roster around him. Pass rush was an area of weakness last season, and even if Campbell’s better days are behind him, he can be an effective starter. With trades and free agency, the risks often are character and durability. Obviously, anything can happen with injuries, but neither of those two things has been a concern with Campbell during his career. The reason I’m not bumping this to an A is Campbell will be 34 years old and the Ravens will be paying him $15 million. There’s certainly a scenario where Campbell’s age catches up to him, his play drops off and he doesn’t play up to that salary in 2020."

The Ravens will sign Campbell to a contract extension through the 2022 season once the trade is official, a source told ESPN's Dan Graziano.

Wow! Stunned. Not sure I agree with this...33 years old and $15 million??? Don't mind losing the 5th rounder but I really really question the money at his age.

Well we got that fifth rounder back with the hurst trade
