vmax Posted November 8, 2020 Author Posted November 8, 2020 Tucker! 24-10! Win probability 99.9%.... Ok 2 monkeys off their back. Never winning in Indy and not winning when down at the half. Hey...the O made the halftime adjustments. Quote
tsylvester Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Aint the beer cold! Two monkies off of their backs, 17 unanswered points, a complet domination of the 2nd half. Well done Quote
Spen Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 What a 2nd half. Great play calling and execution. Love the tempo. Would have been nice to have a better 1st half but still this is a really good win. Quote
tsylvester Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 I tell ya, with all of the loses on defense, they played fabulous. Quote

The Ravens got a call they never get.. Sweet challenge by Harbaugh. The Peters INT was actually an INT because he took 3 steps and had the ball in his hands. Probably all of this thought this was incomplete. I did. It was a pivotal point. Possible game changer after the Edward's fumble at the goal line. Quote
varaven45 Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Nice dang comeback W ! Team got over it’s hangover and Lamar came up big time in the second half. Helluva W and got the Indy monkey off our backs. Quote
vmax Posted November 8, 2020 Author Posted November 8, 2020 "The Ravens are 6-2." "Really?!" Yea...and we're officially at the halfway point of the season." Let's celebrate! The Ravens found a way to win. 1 Quote
cravnravn Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Excellent comeback. Lamar 2019 reared his pretty face. 1st half I was cussing like a teamster Quote

Well, you read what I wrote and I would wager every official, every "analyst" will say that it was not an interception; 9 times out of 10 they call that an incomplete pass. It was the turning point of the game. Quote
cravnravn Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Changing point was 2nd half kickoff. We drove the field. Ran the ball. Passed the ball. That was our changing point. Indy made us look like shit in the first half. We adjusted. That pick from peters was good. He took 3 steps. T hats a football move.. Quote

Spen Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 I thought for sure the Edwards fumble was going to finish them off. But then the interception kept them going. Quote
vmax Posted November 14, 2020 Author Posted November 14, 2020 Hey...the Colts just put up 34 points on the Titans Thursday night. They shut them out for the second half too. Looks like the Ravens beat a real legit contender. Quote
tsylvester Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Never judge on a Thursday night game, one team or one half of a team or both teams never show up. It's too hard on the players. Recovery for them is 5 days, 6 late in the season. Quote

Looks like the Ravens beat a real legit contender. The reports of the Raven's demise have been greatly exaggerated. Lamar's too. The team is not the best in the league but it's good. Lamar has not been great, but overall he's been good. But I'm just being objective, I don't have a narrative I'm pushing or concerned about some prediction I made years ago. Nor am I a bigot. Pedigree, between the ears, swapping brains with a white qb. It was dog whistle central here for a few weeks. It was like the garbage analysts and broadcasters would say in the 70s and 80s, everyone knew what they meant. Quote
varaven45 Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Great observation and well said Spen. There’s a half season of football and lots of narrative to play out. Time will tell how this crazy, unpredictable COVID season okay itself out. Quote
