Lamar's got it....

Quote

Jackson, the NFL’s reigning Most Valuable Player and a beloved leader in the Ravens’ locker room, is the highest-profile player yet sidelined by a virus that three other Ravens tested positive for Thursday, a source said. With the team having returned positive COVID-19 tests every day this week, Ravens players were told in a call Thursday night that Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is increasingly unlikely to be played................https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/ravens-qb-lamar-jackson-tests-positive-for-covid-19-game-vs-steelers-unlikely-to-be-played/ar-BB1boQ6Z?ocid=hplocalnews

Forfeit the game.

12 players total are positive. Then you have the players who are out due to injury.

Jackson is among the four latest Ravens players and one staff member to test positive on Thursday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Ravens now have had at least a dozen players test positive for the coronavirus this week.............https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30396325/source-ravens-qb-lamar-jackson-positive-covid-19

3. Declare a forfeit

Because the Ravens have not been punished for previous protocol violations, this measure is considered unlikely. Only after NFL and NFL Player Association investigations, which could take weeks to complete, would a forfeiture even be considered.

But the NFL has repeatedly warned teams about the consequences of serious transgressions. On Monday, a leaguewide memo announced that players who fail to wear masks on the sideline would be subject to discipline, and that teams were required to enforce the league’s updated rules.

In a conference call with owners, general managers and coaches last month, Goodell and NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent reportedly made it clear that “the burden” of postponing or canceling a game would fall on the team dealing with an outbreak.

“It was very clear that Roger is not taking this lightly at all,” one team executive who took part in the call told CBS Sports. “You don’t hear language like that [about forfeiture] very often. Hopefully, it got people’s attention, because some of these teams don’t seem to be taking it seriously enough at all.”............https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bs-sp-ravens-steelers-postpone-forfeit-20201127-m5y2u4onenfetivpw67hqxrpru-story.html

The NFL should conduct a thorough investigation of the Ravens and the recent COVID-19 outbreak involving players and staff members and terminate any employees who were negligent in violating the league’s protocols...The Baltimore Sun has confirmed through multiple sources that strength and conditioning coach Steve Saunders has been disciplined for not routinely wearing his mask and proximity tracker, which the NFL requires as part of its contact-tracing efforts, and for ignoring potential COVID-19 symptoms as he worked with players.

Disciplined? What exactly does that entail?

More than 250,000 people in this country have died from this pandemic, so there should be zero tolerance. Either follow the protocol or find a new job....Somebody has to pay for bad decisions that were made.......................https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/analysis/preston/bs-pr-sp-preston-ravens-covid-outbreak-20201127-dno3kemi3jgspb4s7g6mpo4p3y-story.html

3 more names to add:  Ricard, Madubuike and long-snapper Morgan Cox.

They don't have anybody who can snap a football.

Calis Campbell has asthma so this could be a possible cares ender for him. There are long term repercussions to covid including lung damage, lingering weakness and brain fog....just to name a few.

“We just want to contain this outbreak!” Campbell tweeted. “Speaking from experience, you don’t want to catch COVID. This virus is brutal! I pray no one else has to go through this. This is bigger than football!”

Off topic: watching the Maryland game. Their win probability is 11.9% and I think they can beat Indiana!...:fishin:....7-0 Indiana up. Terps are in seccond place in their division at 2-1. They had 2 sure TD's...receivers wide open but the throws were bad.
