vmax Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Actually it's 20 players total....at the moment.... Quote Jaylon Ferguson, D.J. Fluker, Broderick Washington, Will Holden, Khalil Dorsey and Tavon Young were placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday. A total of 18 Ravens have been placed on the list this week.......The Ravens have 20 players total on the reserve/COVID-19 list, as quarterback Trace McSorley and injured cornerback Iman Marshall had been on the list since before this week.......https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30408556/baltimore-ravens-add-six-more-reserve-covid-19-list-total-18 All we have to do is wait another 8-12 hours and the list will be up to half the team. I think everybody can see that it's really not safe anywhere at this point in time in the pandemic. Quote
vmax Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 (edited) Here's the Covid list as of this morning......as close as I can figure out...please update it if you see somebody missing.... CB Iman Marshall (on injured reserve) QB Trace McSorley RB Mark Ingram RB J.K. Dobbins DL Brandon Williams OLB Pernell McPhee C Patrick Mekari C Matt Skura DE Calais Campbell OLB Jihad Ward QB Lamar Jackson FB Patrick Ricard DL Justin Maduibuike LS Morgan Cox SLB Lalen Ferguson RT D.J. Fluker LDE Broderick Washington G William Holden RCB Kahil Dorsey LCB Tavon Young Sunday morning Update:::Add... WLB Matthew Judon TE Mark Andrews...(who has type 1 diabetes) that brings us to 22 players with covid.I'm seeing 36 active players for Tuesday night. It's going to be an NFL Redzone day today with Skippy (Scott Hansen who is the best!). Should be interesting with so many teams missing players, Denver has no QB, the 49'ers can't play in San Fransisco...Crazy day.... For extra credit, anybody who can figure out a starting line up for Tuesday night will win this swell gift..... Edited November 29, 2020 by vmax Quote
varaven45 Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 This is conjuring up memories of the infamous scab season of 1987. Quote
varaven45 Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 BTW - we are no playing with ostensibly half our team, no starting backfield, OL and DL. Oh, and just to add to the drama, meteorologists are calling for wintry weather Tuesday night in the Burgh. Whats next ? Resurrect and put Ozzie out there at TE ? We are already out all of last years TE's, right ? Quote
tsylvester Posted November 29, 2020 Author Posted November 29, 2020 The Broncos wanted to use a coach to play qb, the league said no. They care so much for their players they are going to let teams use players not ready for the NFL or playing an unfamilier position; both of which can & will cause injuries. Who cares about the product on the field right? Or about player safety, so long as they get their money from advertisers.... Quote
vmax Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Hey...Tom Matte played QB when Unitas and Couzzo went down. They won a game and then lost a one game playoff 13-10. The plays were on his wristband which is now in the Hallman Fame. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 The league has a good point on using coaching positions to stash players. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30417984/baltimore-ravens-mark-eighth-straight-day-outbreak-wr-willie-snead-iv-tests-positive Add Willie Snead to the list. They cant play this Tue. Quote
vmax Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Feels like there's no end in sight. How many more tomorrow? I wonder who could come off the list and be eligible for Tuesdays game. 35 healthy players. D line is decimated. After watching Denver getting stomped 31-3...going to be rough to watch Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Trave was the first one I think so him but might not be quite long enough. But if they have positives tomorrow I dont see how they can safely play. They will all be on a plane together sometime Mon. They can transfer it then. Then playing it can be given tio Pitt. Quote
