Guest BallTMore Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 (edited) First off...FUCK PITTSBURGH. Please die, all of you. Second. The opening was stupid. The journey? Comparing football to real tragedies. The only way that would have made sense is if they showed a crying girl walking out of a bathroom with Ben following shortly behind. And again. FUCK PITTSBURGH! vmax Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 You know BallT....I too, prefer your alternate introduction. Quote
vmax Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 14-0!!!The Steeler bandwagon is popping their pants. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Pick six! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxuHYVmWlmU I think Winston Wolfe says it right at 17 secs. Quote
Spen Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 lol, not saying its over or close to it, but I can still enjoy the INT. Quote
vmax Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I hope Flacco and Cam are watching this. The Steeled secondary sucks and the intermediate passing game destroys them. Quote
Guest BallTMore Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Woodson out, Pack making mistakes. I know how this movie ends. Quote
Guest BallTMore Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) Just dropped a huge gainer, possibly a TD. Once again, I've seen this movie. Might as well call it night before I get really pissed. Add a phantom facemask to the mix. Fuck it. Edited February 7, 2011 by BallTMore Quote
millz58 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 JORDIE FUCKING NELSON!!!I think he just made up for several drops with this key catch to give the Pack a 1st n Goal. But he had several drops...Steelers had some momentum before that. Quote
vmax Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Packers in position to win. Time for the Refs to take over. Quote
BengalBilly Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Yes I am happy.I bet I'm happier. Way to go Green Bay! Quote
Guest BallTMore Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Thank the lord! Congrats Green Bay! Aaron Rogers is a m-a-n-man. Quote
vmax Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Great Super Bowl. Rodgers and the Pack had a great season Quote
papasmurfbell Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 How much does this negate the Brett legend in GB? It took Rodgers 3 yrs to do what Brett needed 5 yrs to do. I think Rodgers will get more rings also. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/06/aaron-rodgers-wins-what-brett-favre-never-did-super-bowl-mvp/ Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 What a great game and a fantastic ending! Sooo happy the Steelers didn't pull this one out of their asses. I have no idea how they were even in it after giving up 21 on TO's Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I hope Flacco and Cam are watching this. The Steeled secondary sucks and the intermediate passing game destroys them. Or, to make it simpler, put enough receivers on the field to get William Gay in single coverage, then pick on him when you need a big play. He is a huge liability in their secondary. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 They got back into the game by Woodson and Driver getting hurt. There is no doubt. You have to flood the Steelers zones. It also doesn't mean youu have to stop running either. Starks only had 52 yds rushing but at 4.7 a carry. They had to respect it. Quote

BengalBilly Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 The bottom line tonight is that Pittsburgh is the ones going home as the losers of the Superbowl! Quote
millz58 Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Great Super Bowl. Rodgers and the Pack had a great seasonDespite the score and the last-minute(s) opportunity the Steelers had, I don't think this was a great SB, the Steelers made too many TOs to make this game that intriguing. Rodgers was great, his rating would've been in the 130's or something with a few non-drops. I think that GB team is going to be good for a good while, perhaps outlasting the current Bears wave. I like the Pack being competitive and especially winning the SB with Rodgers, to wash the last rotting bits of Favre from the mouths of the Green Bay faithful, they deserve better and more. They will have it. Quote
BengalBilly Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Despite the score and the last-minute(s) opportunity the Steelers had, I don't think this was a great SB, Dude, any Superbowl the Steelers lose in is a great one. I think I have to go back to the '70's to remember the last time it happened. That city has been lucky for far too long. Quote
