It's about entertainment as much as anything. We may not be happy with the loss, nor is the team, but that was another exciting game.

GB is only down a bit because their drafted receivers are struggling, dropping game changing passes. They also missed on several drafted defenders, so their defense is not as good.

The same for KC with their 1 SB win, but they, like us, have had issues on their offensive line with injuries, keeping them out of the SB.

So as I said, the draft is the key to eating these contracts, and not getting indigestion. Draft well enough, develop the young talent, you have a five year window, keep drafting well, that window stays open longer. It's no different, just more important.

The Rams screwed them selves by giving a away all of those picks.

Eric, thus far, has missed on his draft picks by & large. Sure, there is still time for them to develop, so we will have to wait and see.

Where is NE's strategy getting them these days?

Tsy Rodgers c9ntract over the last several yrs has left them just talent deprived to win a sb. If they had a couple more reliable receivers they might have been able to win in an nfcc. Kc won with a rookie deal. The rams won with Stafford leaving most of his cap number staying in det. Now the rams gave him a huge deal and all they can rely on are late round picks to act like 1st rounders. True Eric has missed but I wonder how much is a tyrant coach.

Grubber Bill said a couple yrs ago that he burned up all his extra draft capital to help Tom over the last few yrs there. He hasn't had those extra 1st round picks in several yrs. Can he ever get back to That? Who knows but it worked really well for a long time.
