OutsideRzAcE Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 They still haven't learned how to properly run their team. That's such a high price to pay. The good news is the Browns won't get RGIII http://espn.go.com/b...to-get-their-qb Quote
RavenMad Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 RGIII could be a great player but the Skins are losing an awful lot with 3 first rounders plus a 2nd rounder this year. They are going to have to get a lot of free agent players again to surround the QB with some talent. The Rams probably can't believe the "bounty" they have just received. Quote
vmax Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Insane price but if your team is a joke, like the Indigenous Persons...or Browns...you have to pay it. The Browns blew it...(yea...great news for the Ravens and the AFC North)....they should have presented a better offer. They would have a franchise QB for the next decade and be in contention every year. Plenty of time to build a team around him. They normally bust out on their high draft picks anyway so they would be losing nothing in the long run. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I think the Rams could be on to something real big inthe neft few yrs. Just don't squander it. With all those picks now they can keep moving back yr after yr and keep the extra picks coming for a long time. With eveything the Skins gave up they will be giving StL high picks also. Quote
JPPT1974 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Skins want to really have RGIII. But who knows where he will go. Even though the Skins want him. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 He will go either 1 or 2. The Colts have the #1 pick and will more than likely grab Luck so that leaves the Skins with #2 to take RG3. Quote
cravnravn Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 It would be cool if the Colts took RGIII and Luck went to the Skids and he looked like Leaf II Quote
vmax Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 And here they go!Spending like crazy on Day 1. According to Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com, Garcon received a five-year contract worth $42.5 million, with "roughly" $21.5 million in guaranteed money. That's a lot of cheese for a guy of Garcon's talent.http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/eye-on-football/17772375/pierre-garcon-says-he-signed-with-redskins Defensive lineman Adam Carriker was the Rams' 13th overall pick in the 2007 draft and after two seasons marred by injuries and a position switch, he was shipped to the Redskins for a fifth- and seven-round pick. Now, less than 90 minutes into free agency, Washington has re-signed him to a four-year, $20 million deal that includes $7 million in guarantees, NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reported via Twitter.http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/eye-on-football/17773193/report-redskins-re-sign-adam-carriker-to-4-year-20-million-deal Josh Morgan | WR Previous Team: San Francisco Exp: 4 yearsAnalysis: The Redskins and Morgan agreed to terms on a two-year deal at more than $6 million per season, NFL Network's Michael Lombardi reports. In four seasons, Morgan had 131 receptions for 1,764 yards and nine touchdowns.http://www.nfl.com/freeagency?module=HP11_cp Quote
BengalBilly Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 It would be cool if the Colts took RGIII and Luck went to the Skids and he looked like Leaf IIHuh. I never thought of you as being one to live the "herbal life." Quote
ravensflow Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Typical skins bettering the house on one player.I think this means the Rams could actually build and be good in a few years. NFC West is on the up and up. Quote
