vmax Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Pees better get this corrected. It may be time to start worrying about the Ravens' defense...Almost every starter in the secondary missed a couple of tackles, and the Ravens had sloppy technique. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan lit the Ravens up, completing nine of 13 passes for 155 yards, and he finished with a quarterback rating of 103 a week ago. On Friday night, Detroit's Matthew Stafford was 12 of 17 for 184 yards and two touchdowns. He left after about 25 minutes of work with a QB rating of 145.2. Opposing quarterbacks are rolling up numbers. A second straight lackluster performance by the secondary has to be a cause for concern because this group was supposed to lead the Ravens, who have had one of the NFL's top defenses since the turn of the century.http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bs-sp-preston-ravens-0818-20120817,0,20650.column Harbaugh watching his DB's performance...
thesteelhurtin Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Its the preseason i wouldny worry yet and its not like kevin kolb lit them up
reddog271 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 also they got 2 firsts downs on the starting defense. that drive that started with the long pass to Johnson wasn't vs the #1 D.
papasmurfbell Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Also Dickson and Pitta are not around. Plays may not stall out with tham around. It is preseason but you have too look at where things go right and wrong and why. The final score makes little difference but keys to the regular season are there.
oldno82 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I have to agree with Preston. For the first time since the '90s I'm more worried about the Defense than the Offense. Never thought I'd be saying that.

Billy Bajema is not an effective substitute. The Lions secondary would not have been able to handle that many receiving options.
