thesteelhurtin Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 This offense is a joke without him. They had more turnover then points that they lost by. With Ben and this defense plus getting brown and troy back next week they won't lose another game all year. 1 Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 Dude the Steelers defense is clearly the hands down best defense in the league. The sacks are coming back and Harrison is rounding into shape. Throwing a healthy troy into the mix only makes this defense better. Brown is our best wr and our game changing player. The difference in Ben and the rest goes without saying. 1 Quote
yagersports Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Ben isnt ready to play. This is silly. Btw Suggs had a good day today. That will be good news for Ben. Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted November 26, 2012 Author Posted November 26, 2012 Drs have cleared his ribs now its just down to wether he can deal with the pain in the shoulder. We all know if it's just a pain thing he will be out there. 1 Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Ben can deal with the pain. That is something he has proven many times. Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted November 27, 2012 Author Posted November 27, 2012 DeCastro activated today and will be dressed Sunday though he will only see a few snaps. 1 Quote
cravnravn Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Ben cant hold his baby yet hes going to take an ass beating from Suggs..Yeah OK...Adams is out with an high ankle sprain. Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted November 27, 2012 Author Posted November 27, 2012 Ben can hold his baby most people who have seen him lately say he can move it just fine. Adams isn't out yet and who knows maybe they are forced to start decastro and slide foster out to rt. Decastro has been given the full go I just figured they would work him in but who knows. 1 Quote
oldcrow Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 gilbert still out?move colon back to his RT spot no?keep foster at G either side or bring in Legs not missin a beatsettin the whole league up to fail added bonus: all the experts Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted November 27, 2012 Author Posted November 27, 2012 That depends on colons knee but I think it's good. No word on Adams and Gilbert was put on the if today. 1 Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 steel hurtin you are definitely a half glass full kinda guy Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted November 27, 2012 Author Posted November 27, 2012 Always have been always will be. Thanks for noticing. 1 Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted November 27, 2012 Author Posted November 27, 2012 Ben threw yesterday everything was good. Tomlin hasn't named him the starter yet but that probably won't happen until game time. 1 Quote
cravnravn Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Bens a god damn drama queen, he wont play Sunday, any other team maybe, but its us, he knows he's geting hit and hit hard. Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted November 27, 2012 Author Posted November 27, 2012 Yeah because he used the broken nose as an excuseto leave the game o wait. 1 Quote
vmax Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Broken noses don't hurt at all. It's a nothing injury. Now ribs....that's a whole new ball game. Breathing's hard.....and throwing????? Getting hit????? What's better?A 30% Rthsslxxxbrrrgrrrr or 100% Batch? The wise move is to sit Ben and give him another week to heal and hope you can run out the schedule because with or without Ben, the Steelers won't win this week. Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted November 27, 2012 Author Posted November 27, 2012 Please with this defense and Ben the Steelers won't lose another game all year. 1 Quote
vmax Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Denver, Oalkand and Tennessee...all losses with Rhtssslxxxbrrrgrrr and that D.Add Baltimore to that after Sunday. And they lost to the Browns....no excuse. It's 50/50 at Dallas... and San Diego's packed it in...now they have to prove they can beat the Browns...but the Bengals are waiting to take the last wild card spot Dec 23rd. You don't have a running game. The O line's a sieve. The QB situation is very weak at the moment. Jen is going to get hit again....often.Your Special Teams are not good. That leaves the D...which is very good. They are giving up 19.1 points a game to Baltimores 19.9. That's good. The Steelers are heading more South than North. Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 No way those other loses were at the beginning of the year when they were still installing a new offense. Also no Harrison troy Clark and Woodley in those loses. Remind me how awesome did the giants and packers look in the regular season the last two years. The fact is they both got in due to another team royally screwing up in the final week. Getting Ben and brown back is going to be huge. If lefty had brown we would have beat yinz in pgh. Brown and Ben make this offense gowithout them teams can stack the box with no fear so no wonder the game is struggling before they went down the running game was rolling. 1 Quote
vmax Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Look...put all the lipstick on the pig that you want to but it won't change what it is. 1 1 Quote
cravnravn Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Please with this defense and Ben the Steelers won't lose another game all year. Dude you lost to Leaveland..Nobody loses to Leaveland, what are we 10 straight vs them. 1 Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 steel hurtin is just having fun. He knows the Steelers face a tall task this weekend. The whole city of Pittsburgh knows it. Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Dude you lost to Leaveland..Nobody loses to Leaveland, what are we 10 straight vs them. Even cleveland didn't want the Steelers to lose to Cleveland. They tried everything in their power to give that game away and the Steelers still botched it. Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 Yes we lost to Cleveland that sucked but once again without our two best offensive weapons. Also Wallace is laying down trying not to get hurt and is now listed as an alternative starter with Sanders. As long as Ben is in I think we win. The only bright spot in that Cleveland game was we turned the ball over eight times 5 in Steelers territory and only gave up 20 points. 1 Quote
