9-2 gang! :gorave:

Steelers and Bengals 3 games back and the clock is ticking....and...how bout Dem Browns! :yeah:

The defense really stepped up today. Especially while the offense sleep walked through the first half.

I felt like I was a masocist watching this game....like I must love painfull experiences. :cop:

I can't say enough about the heart and effort of Ray Rice. He's the greatest IMO.

350 yards of offense in the second half and that catch by Tory Smith to set up the game winning field goal on 3rd and 10 was awesome!

I have no clue as to what is going on with Joe. The fact is that he's inconsistant.

When he's on, he makes play after play. When he's off, not there or somewhere else mentally, nothing can get him going....but there's no arugment about the Ravens winning record with him at QB. It's great.

He caught fire today and you can't comeback and win a game like today without a QB like him.

Rivers couldn't do it. He was in position to win this game all day.

The defense has been playing very very good. Very pleased with the D. Joe has got to pop his head out. His contract is going down the toilet. I wonder if it is affecting his play.

The first half the line barely blocked on running or passing plays. no one would've looked good throwing behind that line in the first half.

I'll disagree to a point. Joe Flacco is not the only problem on offense today (or other away games) but Joe is certainly one of the problems. He over threw receivers, missed receivers, and made numerous bad choices but lucked out in that they were not picked off. He seemed lethargic and slow. He settled for the check down pass all day even when we needed more. And really, though the outcome was fantastic and one of the better plays I have seen in a long time, what was the logic in throwing that pass to Rice on 4th and 29? Yeah it worked, but it was not smart.

I know looking at the numbers it looks like he had a good game so I may look silly arguing against it, but I do not think he looked good overall Sunday and I think he looked bad for 3 quarters.

Regardless of the reasons, they need to figure the road offense problems out and fast. Luckily at 9-2 (which is fantastic) they have time to figure things out.

What is wrong with Flacco? My opinion is that the combination of Flacco and Cam Cameron is not best for either of them. Joe is very much a momentum QB. When he is uptempo, he can throw as well as anyone else. But a stuffed run here, a three-and-out there and Joe is ineffective. Taking a look at the overthrows, look at the previous plays before those. Stuffed run, a sack, setting up a third-and-long situation. It is the same thing everytime. I counted on three first-down sacks the next play was a draw play. If I can figure this what makes Cam think an NFL DC will not? Additionally Cam Cameron's route running is very predictable. As cold as Joe was, Cam was not helping him.

I am not saying Joe is an elite QB, but I think under a different OC he would be a better and more consistent QB. I do not believe Cam is utilizing his talents in the best way. Sure, Joe has the sugar huddle he can utilize, but the Air Corryell offense that Cam uses is all about single receiver routes downfield, there is no deception or route set up. Joe does take awhile to get rid of the ball his fair share of times, but a good amount of time receivers are completely covered.

I think Joe needs to say now that it is Cam or him. the team needs to make a choice once and for all.

I have heard that Joe does not like Cam. I know it was really bad last season but I have not heard anything this season. I think unless we win the Super Bowl, this is the last year we will see Cam. If we are going to committ to Joe for the next five to six years we need to know the best he can possibly be. I think the reason we did not make a move last season is because there was nothing better on the market. If Norv Turner is available, I bet we will go after him.

BTW for all you Catholics out here, I do not know if anyone else saw this. Before the Tucker game winning kick, the camera showed Tucker on the field, he did the sign of the cross. Then the camera showed Ray Rice on the bench, who did the sign of the cross. And finally the camera went to Harbaugh walking the sideline, who did the sign of the cross. Hilarious! I had no choice but to do it myself!

Bruce Arians? Also What joe said early in the season was huge in who he omited. he said Calwell is great and he is the reason the offense was going so good. No mention of Cam.

I don't know what's wrong with Joe. Most of the time he looks good to great. Other times he looks lost. I can't figure it out. I'd say he doesn't adjust well to adversity but then look at how he helped to bring the team back.

And as for Ray Rice---can't say enough good things about him. A really dynamic player who has earned all of his new contract.

I think we know Joe's capabilities. He can make the throws. I think the vanilla receiver route scheme is to blame for the inconsistencies. We all know Cam is abysmal at making in game adjustments. If he made worthwhile adjustments he would have been talking to Joe about throwing to Dickson against the Steelers. He's had drops but he was open all night. The Steelers sold out against the wideouts.

I think a new coordinator with the ability to adjust midgame would do wonders for Flacco. Maybe some routes that are contingent on what the defense is giving us. I don't think we have any routes where the QB and WR have to be on the same page. Our routes are what they are and it allows the defense to key in on them. It's a big reason our receivers are never open.

This is at Cam's feet. Also, can we for the love of god go man up on short yardage situations? The zone blocking gets blown out of the water every time we need a yard or two. Truthfully I was yelling at the TV to sneak Flacco again.
